In the attempts to allow more character's to join in and give our avid readers a chance to affect the story. Busted Gulch is starting something new.
As the CAST plays out their story, challenges will surface.... Be it a Showdown, or a not so friendly game of Fish!
Should any cast member challenge another there will be a Poetry Face Off. All challengers will have to post their poems (story) about there version of the outcome.
Example: Two CAST members choose to fight, they meet at noon. Each CAST member writes their story (outcome) of the fight showing them the winners.
You the Reader get to decide who moves on by your comments and votes.(comments will be closed to CAST on these poems). Then the final judgment comes down from the judges here at Storytellers-Saloon.
In a life and death situation - Winner gets to continue in the story. Loser must retire that character and if they wish to continue, reemerge as someone new.
The Fun gets even more Thrilling!!!!

Horses will be named at the beginning of each race:

2- 100 Grand
3- Galaxy
4- Bounty
5- Butterfinger
To Place a BET you must create an 8 line poem (1 only) for the horse you think will win and PM it to Storytellers-Saloon:

SCREEN NAME or NAME OF CHARACTER YOU MAKE UP
Example:
BUSTED GULCH HORSE RACE

POEM:
SixStar won the race
Set the fastest pace
Left the Rest in Disgrace
Busted Gulch Judges will decide the winning poem and the entrant will receive a dedicated chapter in the Busted Gulch story, a reproduction of their winning poem and an appearance/mention in the Busted Gulch story by the current CAST.
