I looked the window of my office, down on the street of Busted Gulch.
"There goes Ruechari."
"Looking for Daddy?"
Asked the voice from behind him, in the shadows of the far corner of the office.
I nodded.
"Yea, she will be out of the picture for a while."
"What about Lean and her brother? Remember, he saw me."
I laughed.
"He was so drugged up on crystal chocohol, that he doesn't even remember. Besides, he is not long for this world. Nothing can save him now."
"You are one cruel s.o.b., Doc."
"That I am my friend and soon the town of Busted Gulch will be mine. Especially now that the Sheriff is gone."
"But we still have one problem to deal with."
I had to agree.
I looked out my window again to see 3Gun headed for the Saloon.
"That we do, my friend. But not for long."
