There Laid A Man
Doc Vale leaned over his bed
Where Crazy Eye Charlie was laying his head
"If Lean don't make it back soon,
It'll all be over tomorrow by high noon"
Crazy Eye was a fighter he seen it all
Watched his dad Alistar, work himself to a crawl.
But this damned cocopuff has laid him down
He remembers falling from his horse outside of town.
He helped create this batch trying to outwit DamagedGoods
Him and some fellas thought they easily could
On the road he had got a mighty thirst
Reached back and grabbed a sample of the cocopops first.
His head felt light and his body started to chill
Felt like he had just been killed
He lay there forever as the family horse walked all around
He heard the hoofed beats hitting the ground
Next thing he knew he was laying in his bed
With this ugly Doc leaning over his head
He couldn't move but at least he was alive
"Hurry Lean" whispered Crazy Eyes
