Promised Land
Blindfolded and tied up,
Lean spent the ride,
As she was whisked
Crossed the countryside -
At gallop.
Eventually,
At an unknown destination,
She was freed
From rope and cloth.
" Who are you?!",
She spat at
The man
Who was holdin' up
His hands
In defense.
"Ruechari's brother."
"Sure."
"And I know,
What you're looking for."
"So?"
"Father's secret liquor
To cure your brother."
"How?!"
He blinked.
"Does it matter?
It's a fact,
That I'm the only one
Who can convince him
To hand the recipe over,
Copper Clover."
Lean looked around
at the desert bare
saying,
"I don't dee nuthin',
Ain't nuthin, here."
He turned her around
to face a sandy mound,
and something more,
there was a door.
He smiled.
"Welcome to the promised land."
