3Gun burped and set down his glass
if he didn't sleep soon,
he'd be on his bedroom floor.
Just before dawn he washed and dressed
pulled his hat on tight 'cause his hair was all messed
Down the stairs and out to the street
and a walk in the dark to his hay bale meet.
