The pledge
Within the chaos,
Lean too,
Took flight,
And dashed off into the night,
Knowin'
Ruechari would be safe
With Three Gun on her side.
The doctor,
However,
Was the same...
As before,
And 'bout to
Close the door
In front of her nose.
Eventually, he took
The bottle of whiskey,
And accompanied
Her home.
Lean's brother
Could be safed,
But when
Mountin' the horse,
He said
With a smirk:
'Don't forget,
What you owe me.'
Lean nodded,
And gave him her knife.
'Here, take this one
By way of a pledge.
But if I stay alive...'
