not much was found
A package of cocopops
Maybe a pound
Lean found a map
with a cross on its face
underneath Destiny
She called it a trace
They left together
then made a deal
Then 3Gun departed
to investigate Steel
He was gone a long time
riding each day and night
The trail gradually fading
until he finally lost sight
Tired and weary
3Gun rode into town
His hunt for Steel failed
He'd let everyone down
It wasn't much help
the little he'd learned
Croc and Steel separated
after the newspaper burned
CrazyGoose was right
she was a new gang's boss
and the supplies that she stole
were a considerable loss
He climbed down from his horse
and tied it to the rail
Then looked in on Alister
who was still in the jail
No sign of the others
and it was late afternoon
Feeling down and defeated
made his way to the saloon
