The Showdown Game
The players sat down
the game began
The cards were dealt
by dealer, Lean
Pairs were checked
and tossed aside
the rest face down
the Queen to hide
Reuchari drew
and made a pair
Next it was Lean
no luck there
3Gun laughed
and snatched a card
making a pair
"Take that, Pard."
Round and round
the play resumed
tension high
much drink consumed
Reuchari was the first one out
then 3Gun emptied out his hand
that left Lean
wearing the loser's brand
Pay up, Lean,
one Haiku poem
next time
get a better system
