No Room for Regret
Steel Diamond and stannbear are getting nervous
Croc checks over his plan and then gets his gear ready
Sunday night is the chosen time and if Lean and her
friends get in the way then too bad.
He thought back to the day they met
The stable where the racehorses stayed
and how he'd been there to drug her pet
but she arrived and his plan delayed
He'd tried to charm by kissing her hand
and wound up with a facial brand
the slap was hard and unforgiving
and left the imprint of her hand
He was probably lucky as things turned out
another rider showed her face
witnessing their bout
Highride Ali and seemed to have some doubt
Lean had left but before she went
he'd heard Highride demand an answer
but Lean was gone and the words were spent
Back to the saloon, she'd get an answer
Now he was going to face her once again
it would settle once and for all their rancour
when he arrived to rob the train
and riding off with his gold, he'd not forget to thank her.
