Sing Birdie, Sing (1)
This whole story could have been a fairytale as well,
If only what the affected had to tell
Was believable!
The first, who shocked all,
Was – of course! – Crazygoose
With another discovery:
Trains that used to smuggle gold during the time of the Great Rush
Are still – according to old newspapers –
Rolling on the rails at night,
Making Lean tremble in her fright.
Gold, disguised in Snickers bar wrappers?
Who would listen to that?
Lean not. All she wanted was her dad.
Stannbear and Steel were hard to break.
And would take
A lot of patience and time.
