She asked me to watch Six Star
then marched past like I wasn't there,
spoke to her horse and went
right into the saloon.
Snubbed?
I wanted to tell her that Highride Ali
was in town someplace
and one of the stabled horses
was hers... she came to race.
Seems she was promoting
the position of bartender
to some guy named Hunter
but was he for real,
3Gun had to wonder.
Bets on the race were growing fast
and the time to run was near at last.
Since BillyBobPete made his last hurrah
Busted Gulch was without the law.
It was every man and woman
on their own... and
personalities would set the tone.
