Chapter 49-A 

 

Michael’s POV

Days, weeks, and months passed quickly. Things were incredible in my life at the moment. Sarah and I made an agreement to have M-W-F as our “sleep with” days which is really awesome for me. I got to wake up at least three days per week to my beautiful girlfriend and fall asleep with her in my arms on those days.

Ideya ito lahat ni Sarah. Maganda raw na gawin ito dahil mas magkakaroon siya ng time na alagaan ako. Nakaka-overwhelm ang pagka-thoughful niya dahil sa loob ng tatlong araw na ito, lagi siyang gumigising ng maaga para lang maipagluto ako ng makakain.

Siya na rin ang nag-aasikaso at naghahanda ng mga isusuot ko at pati na rin ang mga dadalhin kong gamit sa opisina.

Siya ang nagbigay ng kahulugan sa buhay ko.

Siya rin ang nagturo sa akin kung anong direksiyon ang tamang tahakin. Habang tumatagal, lalong tumitibay ang relasyon namin at lalong lumalalim ang pagmamahalan namin. 

  

We had been dating for nearly one year and four months now. Yes. We already had our 1st anniversary together and it’s just amazing that I still fall in love with her over and over again each passing day. She’s incredible and I’m dying to wake up next to her every day, not only on set days.

So today, I have taken my matured decision and have listened to what my heart really wants. Sa tingin ko, handa na ako ngayong humarap sa isang lifetime commitment.

At oo, magpro-propose na ako kay Sarah.

Alam ko medyo may pagka-old fashion na ang hingin pa ang kamay ni Sarah sa mga magulang niya. Alam ko rin na hindi na masyadong uso yung humingi pa ng approval sa kanila.

Ngunit para sa akin, sa paniniwala ko, mas maganda pa ring tignan at mas karespe-respeto kung hihingi ako ng permiso sa kanila. Hindi naman ako nabigo dahil napaka-supportive ni Tito Matthew at Tita Dianne.

They immediately gave their blessings and I am so thankful and ecstatic about that. I guess I had already proven myself to them. They are actually excited to have a grandchild.
