One Last Time

chapter 48 - the most awaiting sunday

Lucy walk up to me so excitedly ... she dragged me to the car . She's so excited ... hope she will not pick , coz the plan will be ruined ... but they have a saying that when your excuted to one thing it wouldn't happen ...

Lucy : Scott common ! We need to hurry !

Scott : its too early we have too much time . Just relax ...

Lucy : I'm so excited ! Last night I didn't sleep coz I keep thinking of this ... hope I will be lucky today ...

Scott : you are thousands of people in a giant jar ! How you can suppose to think that you will be pick ?

Lucy : just trust ! And believe ! Don't be so negative ...

I drive her to the event and I'm wasn't surprised anymore to the thousands of people in here ... they are so excited ... I started to wonder ... that I'm lucky to be with Kath ... coz I can able to hangout with her and talk and laugh and many more ... but I'm just keeping her away ...

After 2 hours the raffle started ... it took so long for waiting ... its not worth it and so embarrassing ... but all my wait is quite worth it coz I'm sure that my sister will get to meet Kathy Jones anyway ....

Lucy : oh my gosh ! I can't breath ... my heart beats fast ... and my stomach was titling ....

She's just excited ... she didn't even eat breakfast proper ply because of this ... and even lunch ...

The MC started the raffle ... I'm not actually lisinting to it ... its just blah blah blah ....

He started to pick names ... first no Lucy ... as same as Second , third, forth , fifth, sixth, and so on ... my sister was now about to cry ... I can see it in to her eyes ... and at the tenth she wasn't mentioned ... I look her once more and she was now crying ...

Scott : its okay ... you can still meet her ... not now but maybe next time ...

She higher me and cry to my chest ... after that I drive her home ... bought her some ice cream ... and she silently eat at the the couch....

I watch her for many minute until receive a text ...

" the meet and greet is done ! " said kath ... I reply her and said ... " I'll pick you up just text me " ... I get my car keys and leave ... she didn't even noticed me ... she's really sad ... " I'm just here at the event ..." she replied

When I arrived , I received a text again " are you here ? Meet me at the parking lot " I went to the parking lot and I saw a black SUV ... kath was there ...

Kath : are giving me a ride ? ( as she put down the windshield )

Scott : get in ...

She went out to the SUV and sit on my car ...

Scott : were not going straight to my unit, were going somewhere ...

Kath : where ?

I didn't answer I just continue driving ... the whole trip was boring ... were not talking ... I started to feel awkward ... she's just staring at her phone ... I noticed that were on it .... ice cream shop ! Me and Lucy always eat ice cream whenever were sad or we had problems .... ice cream is our favorite .

I noticed that we stopped and Scott went out side ... I think were here ..I open the door and I saw ice cream ...
