One Last Time

chapter 28- the hint ...

I spend my half day taking care of Scott .I didnt went to school as same as Scott ... its already 10:00 so I went home I saw dad give him a peck in the chicks ...his doing something and I know its about his work .. but I ask to say something ...

Kath : hi dad .. ( as I kiss him on the cheek ) what's that ?

Mr. Jones : um... just business works ....

Kath : about ?

Mr. Jones : about ... our business !

Kath : dad I get curious what was our business about ?

Mr. Jones : Its about advertisement...businessmans who owns big brand of product company who wants to sell their products by calling us to make commercials ...

Kath : dad I gotta go to bed ...

Mr. Jones : are you hungry ?

Kath : no ... Scott's mom made dinner ... I already eat there ...

Mr. Jones : who is that boy ?

Kath : his my boyfriend ...

Mr. Jones : another boyfriend ? But you have a boyfriend before ...what was his name ....jack ?

Kath : Jackson and me broke up months ago ...he cheated on me ...

Mr. Jones : I didn't know all of your boyfriends ... why don't you introduce him to me for you know to do some dad work .... ( as laugh )

Kath : that's a great idea but Scott his sick now and can't move so can we move it until he can ....

Dad just nodded . I leave him and straight to my room and I remember Scott worried about him ... my mind wouldn't be peace until I knew that his alright ....

I lay on my bed and look at the ceiling still thinking to Scott and his mom 's words ...she said if I can make Scott not hurted anymore would I be willing to sacrifice him ...

Those words always popped in my mind I was worried about her hint ..... coz I can't loose Scott ....

My phone ring and then it was Scott his awake ... I pick my phone and answer it...

Kath : hello !

Scott : how are you ?

Kath : I must ask you that ! ( as I joke )

Scott : I just wanna check if you for home safe ....

Kath : I'm alright ... how about you ?

Scott : still body ache but much better that earlier ....

I remember the conversation me and his mom . I wanna ask him about it but he interrupt me ...

Scott : mom told me you and her talk things .... what things ? Is it about me ?

Good he started it .....

Kath : yes ! She told me that you have an older brother ...is he Vince ?

Scott : so mom told you my childhood and my terrible memory ...

Kath : so tell me more about him ...

Scott : actually I don't wanna talk about him anymore ... every time i remember him I remember how my daddy hated me since he got lost ... its just reminds me of a horrible past ...

Kath : I'm sorry ....

Scott : its okay ...I remember his secrete ... he said to me that his upset with dad coz he cant see how awsome I am ... his kind very very lovable big brother ... he always save me from bullies who always call me names ... whenever he heard that I was teased by other kids he always run through our backyard and say ... '" if you don't stop I will beat you up " and the kids will run through their mamas crying.... that's one of our happy memories ... mom and dad don't see that ...coz we kept it as a secrete ...
