Fate (Rhett and Link fanfic)

First Conversation

In her mind she was going crazy. She was trying not to think about the fact that her prince was right in front of her and talking to her. She really hoped she wasn't dreaming. Kate then realized he was asking her a question and then said that he reminded her of a celebrity. He smiled and started to chuckle a little bit because somehow he secretly knew that she was talking about him. He then said "Well, I kind of am a celebrity." Kate replied sarcastically, "Oh really?" He then smiled and laughed and she laughed too.

He said "Yeah. My name is Charles..." Before he could finish she cut him off and continued what he was saying "Charles Lincoln Neal III. You're best friends with Rhett James Mcloughlin. You two have been best friends for about 30 years. You two have an internet show, music videos and sketches, and (in my opinion) are very funny to watch." He replied with "So you do know who I am." She said "Yes I do Link, I know who you are.

He laughed and then he said "Oh wow. So then you're a mythical beast?" She replied, "Sorta" and he was a little confused. He said "What do you mean by that? Is that even possible?" He didn't give Kate much of a chance to answer because right after he said that he said "Anyone can be a mythical beast. It doesn't matter how." She said "...That's pretty deep." He cracked up and she laughed too. Kate then said, "I am not technically part of the Kommunity but I do watch all of your videos and follow you guys on any form of social media possible."

She laughed nervously at herself and then said "I'm kind of obsessed with you. Well... both you and Rhett, but mostly you" she said not knowing when exactly to shut the hell up. Link laughed at this and then said "you should join the kommunity. It's really fun." She blushed. She didn't notice that in the dim lighting of the store that he was blushing along with her.
