Familiar Faces

​A week passes by and it is now time for Kate to go back to work again. She enters the store and says hello to her coworkers and friends at work and then starts recovering the front tables of the store. Within 10 minutes of being at work she sees one of her old PE teachers. They catch up and talk about everything that's going on in their lives. She was very surprised to see someone she hasn't seen in over 10 years. That wasn't the only person she recognized that day.

After her break it was time for Kate to work in the fitting rooms. She was excited. She knew it would be easy since there weren't many people shopping at this point. Kate basically got to do what she wanted. She checked on the fitting rooms every once in a while. Then she would go put some clothes away. And then come back and do it all over again.

At one point all of the rooms were closed so she knocked on the door of all of them and opened the doors of the ones that were empty. Kate knocked on one of the doors and was surprised to see the person that came out of the fitting room looking the way that they did.

It was Link. He was trying on a plaid shirt and he didn't quite button it up yet. When he opened the door to see who was knocking, Kate was really surprised and started to blush. She closed her eyes immediately after she saw Link. She said "Oooh Link button up the shirt!!" He said "What? You don't want to see ALL of this?" while gesturing to his chest and stomach area.

Kate then opened her eyes and she looked at him. She was trying to look at his face but it was kind of hard for her. She always felt her eyes going down as they were talking to each other. She said "Well yes I do, but just not this close. I'm used to seeing you shirtless through the screen on my phone or laptop. Not in person. Wait. Did I just say that out loud?" They both blushed and laughed and then he said "yes you did." Link then finished buttoning up the shirt.

"What do you think?" he asked. "You look good in plaid" she replied. He chuckled and said "Thanks. I was actually hoping to run into you here. I have some things that I wanna talk to you about. I don't think I can say everything right now because it's a long story. Maybe we can go get coffee after you get off your shift?" Kate giggled and asked "Are you asking me out on a date Mr. Neal? You do know you're married right?" Link said "Well yes I do know that and no I'm not. I just want to talk about some stuff with you." She then said "Ummmmm..... Ok then. I get off at 9." He said "Great. I'll see you then."
