Ok so my friend silveroak6 mentioned in a comment in one of my other chapters that there was no mention of what would happen to Link's family in this story so I included a little bit of an insight as to what would happen at the end of the chapter. Enjoy!

About a week has passed and mythical beasts all over the world have been wondering who Link was talking to when he and Rhett finished their song. Kate kept quiet the entire time and only spoke to Link every once in a while so she was pretty cool about it. After all nobody ever expected her to be the one he was singing to.

Kate knew exactly what to do. She decided to sing a song to Link. Now she normally sings covers on her YouTube channel so this won't be that big of a deal to whoever watches them. She was thinking about doing a cover of "Ours" by Taylor Swift.

She hasn't done that yet which is good because she does a lot of Taylor Swift. So she attempts to do the cover without crying 2/3 of the way through it but it was hard for her  because the bridge of the song is the part that makes her cry the most even when listening to it.

The cover went pretty well. She did it multiple times because every time she did it she cried. There was one take at the end where she is the most calm and there is only one single tear streaming down her face by the end. Once she finishes that cut she posts it on YouTube.

A few days after the video is posted Rhett is scrolling through YouTube and sees a video that says "Ours from Delilah" and he clicks on it. He sees this girl with short brown hair in a green t-shirt at a piano. As she is singing Rhett notices that she is starting to cry but even through her tears and small sobs she still has a beautiful voice.

Rhett doesn't call Link right away. He watches the video all the way through and then calls Link over. Link watches the video and tears start to form in his eyes as soon as he sees her. He sees the girl that he loves singing to him. He is crying tears of joy because he absolutely loves what Kate did for him.

The only thing Link wants right now is her. He is plagued by his love for her. However he is still married to Christy. Even though they don't live together and are split up Link is still technically married to her.

He and Christy both agree that they should get a divorce since the affair was mostly Christy's fault. When they go get the papers signed they agree that Link will get to have the kids every other weekend at his apartment. He and Christy are not mad at each other any more. They have realized they both want different things. Right now all Link wanted was Kate.
