Fate (Rhett and Link fanfic)

"Hey you"

Kate wakes up one Saturday morning in the summer and showers. She then gets dressed and makes herself breakfast. Then she does what she does every morning which is watch either a GMM episode or something relating to it.

Throughout the entire episode Kate was watching, she was thinking to herself "I love Link's eyes. They're so perfect." She then remembered that she had to go to work that afternoon. She wasn't too excited about that. But somewhere in the back of her mind she knew this was going to be a good day.

​When she gets to work she is actually a little early but she wanted to get to the back of the store quickly and hopefully talk to her friend Alex if he was working that day. She then goes back to the break room and signs in.

When she signs in she is told to go to the boys section so she thought that wouldn't be so bad. As long as she wasn't thrown into women's clearance she was happy. She starts to straighten up immediately. She then feels her phone buzz in the back pocket of her jeans. She got a text from the last person she expected to get one from. It read "hey you."
