Link then did something he hadn't done in about 4 months. He leaned in closer to Kate, closed his eyes, held her face gently with his hands and then kissed her. In that kiss he knew what he was doing was the right thing. He just had to do what his heart wanted him to and his heart wanted him to love and be with Kate. He knew that she loved him and he was definitely feeling something for her. He still needed to explore it a little more and spend more time with Kate. But this was a good start.
When Kate realized what Link was doing she closed her eyes and prepared for the greatest moment of her life. Her heart was pounding and she felt like she was going to faint because her favorite half of her favorite YouTuber duo was not only in the same room as her but he was kissing her too. During the kiss she felt everything she did the first time he kissed her. Everything except guilt and regret. This kiss was just full of love and passion and excitement and she knew that she had nothing to worry about.
Once the kiss was over Link opened his eyes and looked into Kate's eyes. "She's so beautiful" he thought to himself. This made him smile and Kate asked him "what're you thinking about?""you" was his only response. They then got back in his car and headed for Kate's house. Kate then felt her phone buzz in her bag and she took it out and looked at it. It was just a Twitter notification so she dismissed it. That cleared her notifications and her lock screen could be seen clearly but she quickly hit the lock button before Link could see but he saw anyway and said "what's that?"
She blushed and showed him the pic she had on her phone of him. "Thoughtful guy? Really?" He asked. "What? I liked the rug you were laying on. It's my favorite color" she replied. "Suuure....." He said and laughed. " I told you that I was obsessed with you" she said as Link rolled his eyes. "That you did Kate, that you did" Link said and began to laugh.
L: "So I'm guessing we're gonna give this a shot right?"
K: "Good guess Link."
