{I wrote this in response to an awesome book I read on here on Wattpad. So, this is my response to its masterpiece; purity of poetry.}
I grab a paper and aside of it a pen
I'd give you my world, just tell me when.
Onyx, I wrote,
I'm looking through the words of my book, maybe there's something in here that I can quote.
My smile took its plunge as a tear escaped me, it faded
it was the corner of my lips that curled,
it was my dignity that I traded.
Onyx, I said again
this time it made so much more sense, it revived that emptiness inside of me and I automatically viewed the sight of a wren.
Onyx, I screamed; louder each time
I tried to get them all together, drafting, storming, outlining..
It doesn't matter anymore.
Life doesn't have to be so perfect and nor does it need to rhyme!
I could feel
Colors of all intense sight
I fluttered high like a lost kite.
Ivariably, my lips finally say
that's what I'd always say at the end of such a glorious day.
