Go Home, You're Drunk

I've loved

I've lost

I've gained

I've conquered.

I stand out because my heart decides to lead;

to be a leader

I learn and cherish because I decided to create my life on a thin, smooth line.

Tomorrow is a new day

Today is a day of surprise

Yesterday was a day that involved horror..

I laughed

because nobody leaves that door

 if no one decided to learn

take yourself a siesta;

not a day's worth of sleep–

you need to wake up to the world,

not get lost in it.

Slaughter yourself till your life ends

because you're drunk

you're intoxicated by life itself

you need no reach of a bottle of Irish liquor to get yourself all worked up

because you've lived life to the extreme

you've been to the corners

and you've been to the slightest of cracks.

Go home

have a drink, take a hike

you're drunk; too drunk for life itself.

You're on a new day

with the same face.

Go home, you're drunk!

You're a cost of its own,

how can you just take off that mask and at the same time manufacture another?

You're in elegy;

a nightmare..

Trust me it won't make you any more sober

if you take a sip of the lovely side of yourself

or remove your name from the tongues of evil.

What are you?

Who are you?

I've conquered

lost

loved

but then I saw you.

I jugged my bottle towards my lips and slurred

"Go home, you're drunk!"
