A bearing
perhaps a seed
maybe a right so daring
or to commit a good deed.
Laughter is a joke
a one with sheer light
it might make you choke
or kill you with all of its might.
Hell seizes an afire dawn
keeping you from all of what's left of it
it shows you what has vanished and what has gone
with the snake's venom that dug so deep with one of its lasting affliction of being bit.
Warmth takes you into its loving embrace in its rather large arms
it will render your sadness and dark
even if you'd mesmirize it with your lovely and whimsical charms
trust me, it'll remain as a silent bark.
