Come A Little Closer

{{This poem is a definite reminder that there are beautiful articles of nature that are being cut down by humans for our own personal use. It's heartbreaking to see that some people don't know the consequences to losing our Mother Nature. This one's about deforestation.}}

Everyday

more than a handful of trees are either cut down

or burned to ashes.

Apparently,

we

as a nation of humanity

watch this tragic occurence darken

with pity behind out bright screens

but our guts have no intention to input a vow that can aid us

in preserving this wonderful aura

that screams

green as its national emblem.

////

We look from afar with no sense

fire cracks ashes up

in flames of fury

crisps

shackles

fingers grip the edge,

fear seeping into his eyes

he fights a hopeless battle.

Trees may seem lifeless to you

but they speak and ignite in vital shields.

These field I look across,

they resemble barren lands of gold so precious..

It cries in pain, regret, and remorse..

It has been neglected

It saved us

apparently, we don't care about saving it.

///

Problems don't come out of pity for your surroundings

whether person of being

or an herb by your side.

Think twice

don't let the demons value you

nor your negativity.

Let him vanish with your blinding heart

of light and love.

Kind hearts

 reveal sacrifice

and sometimes

sacrifice comes from within

to dwell in the day of this life.

It's a code, can't you see?

Fierce and lovely

yet a gentle and invisible touch.
