Each ache I count
Each count I note
Each note I bare,
I did it for you
I do it for you
And I will always do it for you.
But you wouldn't do it for me.
I wonder,
I really wonder,
That if life sent me to go jump from a cliff
Maybe you'd save me
Maybe you'd scream "NO!"
Maybe you'd want to go instead of me,
Or maybe..
You'll finally open your eyes to realize I'm your only sister.
Or maybe not.
Or.. maybe you'll stand there quietly..
Silently.
You'll watch me
You'll trick me
But I'd smile through it all
Because of you,
Who you are,
What you are.
Because you're the one I try to shield,
The one I want to protect.
You laughed at my screams
You giggled at my cries
You chuckled at my moans.
But silence is what I know
And silence is what I'll learn.
That's what I'll be.
I could've chose anybody, but I chose you
And you chose anybody and forgot about me.
