AT ARYAN'S HOUSE:-
"So finally you are here to kill me, aren't you, queen Kamakshya?" the sage asked with a sly smile on his ugly face.
Durga opened her eyes and studied everything around.
"Where am I?" she asked.
"You are somewhere you shouldn't be!" he answered and chuckled.
She looked at the men who were standing in the same room. She spotted Aryan's father who looked a lot like the human general from her dreams. She glared at his direction but her head ached which caused her to cringe her face.
"Don't worry, the modern medicine will wear off" he answered in a different language.
Aryan's father translated it to her. She glared at the sage again. Suddenly she remembered about the necklace and she looked down at her upper chest where it was hanging. She panicked when she realized it was not around her neck.
"Don't worry, the necklace of your mother is with me in my collection cabinet" the sage said with a grin.
He pointed the glass almirah which contained all the weapons she had seen in the dream. Her Trisula was also kept in there. She was searching for the necklace and finally, she spotted it kept beautifully at the top of the cabinet. She tried to get up from her seat but she was roped to the chair she was sitting on.
"When you started getting the dreams of your past life even I too started getting dreams about that time of my life. And I knew it then, that you have taken birth already" he said.
Aryan's father quickly translated the words.
"I have lived my life in fear all these years because of you. I got this dream about lord Shiva where he informed me that you will kill me" the sage added as he walked around in the room.
She listened to his talks about how bad his life had become after the death of the rakshas species. Durga didn't answer back and simply listened to his useless talk which she thought he must have rehearsed properly to present in front of her.
Her mind was busy thinking about how she would reach to the cabinet and get her necklace and her weapon.
******
There was a loud sound of pistol firing. A tall guy came into the room and informed that two guys were attacking the men.
"Ah, so king Rudra has come to rescue his queen" the sage mocked as he brushed his beard with his fingers.
Durga didn't understand what he said, but she understood Sahaya was one of the guys who was attacking them. Aryan's father left the room to check outside. Only a few men stayed back. Her eyes twinkled when she sighted Jatin standing among those men who were in the room, but she turned to the other side quickly.
She remembered about what Thomas had informed her about Jatin. It was true, he was badly beaten by his gang men. He had bandages all over his arm and head. But in cases like these, that is when someone betrays, they generally kill the guy. It was astonishing for her to see Jatin still living. She assumed Aryan must be a very good friend of his.
The sage kept on staring at her and telling her all the things that he had been through, but she wasn't getting anything he said. He was speaking in the old Tamil language which she had no clue of.
She could also hear the sounds of groans of pain outside the particular room and wished that it wasn't of Sahaya's.
Suddenly a man was thrown into the room as the door broke down. Everyone turned to face what had happened and in the meanwhile, Jatin quickly ran towards the cabinet and pulled out the necklace and a sword from it without causing any noise.
