I knew that with the luck I was having that I would end up doing this. but for some reason even though I was totally ruining everything, I was a little happy inside. I don't know why but he was different, I mean when I brake someone it's a little easier.

I mean I still hate doing it but, there not like Henry. but I don't know what is so different about him. we came up to a little motel on main street. 'AVENUE INN' was the name of the place, it was run down. we entered the moldy building. the floor was this ugly color, made me think of burnt rubber and a public bathroom. the walls were decaying of filth, and they had old painting of probably some old guests or something.

then we looked over at the lady at the desk. her hair was curled, and you could see last nights make up stained on her face. she wore a ugly maroon dress with gaudy jewelry. we walked up to the counter. ''how can I help'' she said not looking away from her computer. ''um we need a room for the night'' Henry said. ''would that be credit or cash'' she said still not looking away from that computer screen.

''credit'' Henry said. he put a blue card that said venture on it. then I pulled out mine and laid  it on the desk. the women took them and slid them trough those machines. ''thank you here's your room key'' she handed us the room key and just put her eyes back on the screen.

we walked trough a long hallway, till we found our room. we opened in the door, and almost screamed in frustration. there was only one bed, and then when an idea popped in my head about just sleeping on the floor. it was ruined when I saw the chew marks on the side. ''um I guess we're sleeping in the same bed'' he said awkwardly. I didn't want to but it was the only thing I could do. this doesn't mean anything it's just, a coincidence.....right?
