we walked over to the house across from us, where most of the adults stay. Henry with terrified eyes tried to look brave but his eyes were giving it away. Rill sat outside in her little chair, like she does every night. ''Rill we have a problem'' Harvey said stopping peacefully.
''come inside'' she said getting out of her chair weekly. we walked inside my mother stood In the kitchen washing dishes. '' will you look at henry'' Harvey said shoving him on the couch. '' yes I could see the marks from the doorstep'' she said sticking her chin up. Henry sat at the couch leaning a little away from the old women. '' stand up'' she demanded, Henry stood up obediently.
''take off your shirt'' she demanded more stiffening her shoulders. ''what's with everyone wanting me to ''take off my shirt'' he said pulling his shirt off. revealing the dark swirled lines which were now bolder. ''aw yes breaker'' she said sitting in the floral armchair. ''wait, wait, what'' Harvey said putting his fingers to his temples ''he's human he can't be a breaker''.
I just stood there to in complete shock. how could henry be a breaker, I couldn't sense it. ''along the line someone in his family was a very powerful heartbreaker'' she said wiping her glasses with her jacket. ''someone was a forbidden'' the color left from Harvey's face. ''no that can't be'' Harvey stuttered. I was confused what was a forbidden. henry just looked like his mind had lost connection.
''what are forbidden?'' Tommy asked. Rill and Harvey looked at her. ''they were very powerful breakers they had many talents'' Rill said closing her eyes to remember the past. ''after a century they had become evil and killed regular humans, by sucking out everything from there hearts''. everyone stood still trying to process the information that was being told to us. '' they were destroyed or maybe arrested'' Harvey said having the color flowing back to his face.
''but how do you know I'm forbidden'' henry said trying still to look brave but his eyes giving away his fear. ''someone in your blood line was human and fell in love probably with a forbidden'' Rill said looking straight at him. ''those marks showed up because of it''. ''so what am I suppose to do sit back and not no what this means'' henry was getting frustrated. ''Harvey we need to call the brothers'' my mother walked in wiping her hands off a towel. I whipped my head at my mother. every breaker new who the brothers were. they had given up there breaker powers to join the brotherhood. but are forced to silence. I knew if we called them something bad would happen. but I know that henry has to figure out what these mean, I just wish it wasn't true.
