I sat outside in the swinging bench on the porch. the cold air brushed against my face. soon the door opened an popped out Henry. he smiled looking exhausted and sat down next to me. his curly brown hair blew in the light breeze. His green eyes looking straight into the night. ''so do you know anything about the forbidden thing'' he asked relaxing his back.

''no I just heard about it'' I said not looking at him. '' well Harvey and them are trying to get in contact with the brothers or something like that'' he said brushing his bags out of his eyes. I looked at him, his face seemed emotionless. ''I'm sorry'' I said quietly. I felt sorry for him he was brought in to my world, when I tried to keep him out of it. ''for what'' he asked glaring at me with big curious eyes. ''for all of this'' I said not daring to look at him again. '' it wasn't your fault'' he said brushing the long hairs out of my face. '' it was a secret you had to keep'' he said looking down into the chipping floorboards. ''I might as well tell you mine''.

I flicked my head slowly towards him, I didn't know what he meant. ''my mom and my divorced so my mom and I moved here, and well I've had those marks before'' he said looking dead serious. what did he mean about the marks. ''but they had never been that big and I didn't know what they were'' I just stared at him as if he were a ghost. ''what do you mean you've had the marks before'' I asked trying to organize this new found information. ''I had them when I was eight but my mum did something to go away'' he said staring ta my with intense eyes.

''what she do'' I asked begging him to feed my more information. ''I don't remember it's blurry'' he sounded as if he was about to fall asleep. '' you want to go somewhere more private'' I asked as shadows approached the window. he nodded in agreement.

we walked back to my house, and the whole walk it was silent. I guess we were just scared that someone my hear us. I opened the door with a blast of hot air we walked in. ''ok so when my aunt touched you it must have reactivated the marks or something'' I said getting straight into the conversation. ''I guess so'' he yawned. he sat down on the couch stretching out wide. he reminded me of a cat stretching from slumber. ''come on I'll get you to bed'' reaching out a hand. he grabbed it and we trudged to my room. I know it's weird but it was either mine or Harvey's, and Harvey doesn't really like his neglect of privacy. he flopped on the bed a scotched over as if telling me to lay there.

he looked at me with innocent eyes. he patted on the spot beside next to him. I sat on the bed brushing his curls off his face. I laid my back flat on the bed. he turned over, making his eyes meet mine. all I wanted to do then was freeze time and stay like that forever.
