after that mentally emotional experience, I walked over to Henry playing Packman. once I walked over there he was so into the game that I was scared for a minute. finally he won the game and beat Harvey's high score. ''did you seriously just beat the high score on Pack Man that's been up there since Harvey bought the place'' I said stunned. no ones ever beat the high score before many had tried but failed.
''well it's beat now'' he laughed, and typed in his name for the high score. '' wanna order some food and than I can wax you at a game'' he said teasing me. ''yeah how about some fries and we can split them'' I said offering to share. ''yeah why not'' he said smiling. we walked up to the counter, Harvey came out and smiled. ''so what can I get for ya today Val'' he said leaning on the counter. ''some fries'' I said getting my money out of my pocket. '' here's your Fries anything else ya want '' he said handing me the fries.
''thanks Harvey'' we walked to a booth and sat down. '' so would you like to take your revenge now or later'' he asked catching me off guard. how did he know, I was trying to get revenge. ''ok ya caught me, but now I'm going to totally beat you at your game'' I said evilly. ''ok before you go all hardcore we're going to finish our fries'' he smiled.
we sat there as we had only one fry left. '' you want it'' he said, '' no I'm good'' I said declining. he threw it away and we walked over to a game. ''ski ball'' he said pointing to it. I shook my head yes.
we started the game and we played until the place had to close. we were laughing so hard our stomachs hurt. finally the bell rang to the doors, and Tommy walked in. she looked over at me, and smiled. ''Val where have you been, I didn't see you at school all day'' she said with a sincere look on her face. she looked over at henry and was stunned. '' um I was the escort for the new kid witch is Henry'' I said blushing.
''oh'' she said realizing her mistake. ''Hi I'm tommy '' she was trying to get out of the awkward zone. ''hi'' he said. soon Harvey walked out and Tommy's eyes lit up. she ran over to her brother and hugged him. ''did you get it'' she said excited. ''yeah'' they were so happy. '' what did you get '' I asked. ''the roller rink down town'' they said happily. ''I just got to get the supplies and some paint and it will be ready to open'' he said so proud ''and your helping, hey henry do you want to help''.
oh no, this is not good. not only have I spent the whole day with him he is now offered to spend even more time with me. my plan all of it, how is this possible how come I can't do this. '' yeah sure'' he said smiling at me.
