Leon had stayed at the Green dorm that night. Collin had heard of the situation and immediately offered to let Leon stay over. Not being fussy Leon agreed.

Leon slept all through the night despite his near death experience and although he slept on a stretcher it still felt more comfortable than his bed in the Blank dorm had been.
The network of tree houses that made up the Green dorm were all really impressive.
Each room was a small tree houses that lead to other huge trees through paths and bridges and each of the rooms were even better than the tree house back in the park where Leon lived.

Unknown to the people who lived it a town by the bay a boat pulled into the docks that night.
Five people came ashore. Each wore different clothes and each had a different magic symbol on parts of their clothes.
When in the town they were greeted by a woman. Her hair was long and sort of silver and grey combined. She wore a long silver dress and high heels. Despite her old looking hair colour this woman was only in her late twenties.
‘My dear it has been done, the Blank dorm has fallen of the edge of the cliff where it sat and now lays as nothing more than rubble.’ She spoke.
A man stepped forward from the group of five and spoke. ‘Good. Tonight we shall prepare for the disaster we shall create. We start by flooding this village.’

The following day when Collin and Leon reached school they could find almost no one.
Leon and Collin entered the school halls but they too were empty.
‘What happened, where is everyone?’ Collin spoke.
‘Maybe there is a day off? I doubt everyone is sick.’ Leon spoke back.
It was as if the school was a shell, with nothing inside.
After wandering finally Leon and Collin found a boy who was wondering around the halls searching for people.

‘Hey do you know where everyone is?’ Leon asked.
The boy seemed absent minded, his eyes wandered and it seemed as if for a moment he completely dismissed Leon but then he replied.
‘Hm. Ohh yeah mostly everyone went down to the town, not really sure why.’
‘Maybe we should see if Alexandra, Blain and Kelly are down there.’ Collin spoke.
‘Good idea.’

When finally Leona and Collin reached the town they were both shocked to find that the ocean had risen and flooded streets and houses.
People were on the roofs of houses calling for help.
There were a few boats in the flooded streets; they carried back children to the higher ground. The people driving these boats were almost all teachers and a few older students.

‘Hey Leon!’ A girl’s voice shouted.
Leon turned to the right to find Alexandra waving at him and Collin. She was standing with Blain and Kelly.
They all looked tired and worn out.
‘How long have you all been here?’ Collin asked.
‘Since five, we came down here to see what was going on.’ Kelly replied.
‘When we got down here we tried to help but the adults told up to stay on higher ground.’ Blaine added.
Leon began to walk down the hill towards the water. He made sure to not get too close to the water just in case he slipped in. The water was moving somewhat fast and rescue boats were going back to the ground with the few people that could fit on them.
The water level was still rising and in an hour or so the roofs of houses might be covered too.

Leon scanned the top of the water and noticed that cars were floating down the streets slowly.
‘Hey Leon you might wanna get back up here!’ Alexandra shouted.
‘Just give me a moment.’ Leon said quietly.
Focusing on a pile of rubbish in the water Leon noticed a young boy about six years old holding onto a floating board of wood.
Leon’s eyes widened in shock as he realised the boy was unconscious and floating towards the docks, if he floated out that far he would never be found.
Without hesitation Leon ran into the water and began to swim.

With all his strength Leon battled the current and powered past rubbish and debris until he finally was near the boy.
He took a huge breath and powered through the water until finally he managed to reach him and drag the board as best he could over to a building.
Just as it seemed as though Leon and the boy were safe a gush of water ripped Leon away sending him crashing into the wall of a house.

Leon shuttered in pain but did not give up.
He forced himself off the wall using it as a boost to shoot down the water like a bullet.
The boost had worked; Leon caught up to the boy and grabbed him.
With all his strength Leon pushed himself and the boy away from the board and over a building where the current wasn’t strong.
Thrashing his legs Leon managed to finally kick the boy and himself to safety.
But it wasn’t over. Leon was worn out and the water was still rising and Leon could barely stand let alone keep himself and the child he was clutching above the water.

Leon knew only one thing, and that was that he had to try and push the boy higher up. But in doing so he would fall under the water level and most likely drown.
There was no time to hesitate. Leon pushed with all his strength and the boy was lifted higher.
Leon hoped that they would both survive, he hoped it would turn out all right but deep down he knew that only one of them could live, he was running out of breath, he wanted nothing but for the boy to live, he wanted to save the boy.

Everything seemed to slow down in those last few moments. A few seconds felt like an eternity.
Leon’s life seemed to flash before his eyes. He saw everyone. But his friends are the ones he saw most. Collin, Kelly, Blaine and Alexandra.
‘I can’t die here… no I can’t. I have too much to live for and I can’t just give up. I need to save this boy, I need to do this.’ Leon shouted in his head.

It was as if a bolt of lightning had struck Leon. His body flowed with a new strength and for those moments he knew there was no way he would die.
Stretching he forced the boy higher and as he did the boy was ripped from his hands.
Surprised and scared for the boy he launched himself into the air, extending one arm he reached for where the boy had been.
Leon’s hand was met by another and it ripped him out of the water and into the air.
Leon could feel himself being dragged through the air.
He couldn’t open his eyes but it was only a brief moment that he was in the air as he felt a flat surface beneath him.

Leon came to a few moments later.
Coughing up water he rolled onto his side and then onto his hands and knees.
A hand lifted Leon to his feet and Leon noticed that he was standing on a roof, with the boy now conscious sitting in front of him.
At first Leon’s vision was blurred and he couldn’t hear properly but after a few moments he regained those senses and found Mr Erikson standing in front of him.
‘Leon that was dangerous.’ He frowned.
‘Sorry sir, it’s just…’
‘It’s ok Leon, you don’t have to explain, and you did just fine.’ Erikson smiled.

Alexandra nearly ran into the water after Leon when he had ran in to save the boy. If it hadn’t been for Kelly stopping her she would have.
‘Thank god he is ok.’ Alexandra sighed with relief.
‘That was close.’ Collin added.

Leon sat down onto the ground breathing heavily.
‘It’s ok Leon take a break.’ Mr Erikson spoke.
There was a brief silence but then there was a loud banging noise. And the building shook slightly.
‘Damn I was hoping so much that those two would die, it would have been so much fun if they had.’ A voice laughed.
Leon looked up to find Mr Erikson standing in front of him and on the building opposite to them a man in aqua coloured clothes with pale white hair.
He looked as though he was in his late thirties and was well built.
‘What did you just say?!’ Mr Erikson demanded.
‘I said it would have been funny had those two children died. But now I think about it it would be funny if you did too!’

The man waved his arm in a slashing motion at Leon.
A wave of aqua coloured mana shot out of the man’s hand.
Leon knew there was barely any time to dodge so he tried to role to the side to avoid whatever damage he could. However before Leon even moved a muscle the mana was intercepted by a sphere of brown mana.
Realising the attack had been blocked by Mr Erikson Leon got to his feet and ran over to the little boy trying to protect him.
‘Don’t worry you two. I swear no harm shall befall either of you!’ Mr Erikson shouted.
‘My, my aren’t you quiet the annoying one.’ The man laughed.
‘Look you twisted freak, I don’t care who you are you will not harm these children. And if fighting you is what required, then so be it.’
