Leon awoke on a beach, his clothes were soaked and he felt sore all over.
He coughed as the sandy salt water flowed into his mouth. Dragging himself forward Leon reached the dry sand of the beach where the water wouldn’t tough him.
Glaring up into the sky Leon’s mind drifted for a few moments. Did he hit his head falling from the building? Did he get a concussion from debris in the water? Leon found these questions flooding through his mind.

The sun was bright and it glared into Leon’s eyes, breaking him out of his trance.
Leon sat up shaking his head.
it felt as if a hammer had slammed down on him repetitively. Leon’s entire body shook in pain and yet somehow he managed to force himself to his feet. Leon staggered for a moment but managed to find his balance.
‘Ok it couldn’t have been that long that I was out for.’ Leon assured himself.
Leon glanced but into the sky and he noticed that the sun had moved across the sky a fair bit since the building collapsed and Leon was washed away.
‘Maybe its only been a few hours. The sun is lower in the sky but of course it could have been a few days. Great now I’m unsure.’

Leon glanced up and down the beach.
‘I’m still on the island where the school is, that much I can tell.’
Leon looked at the water and noticed that there was still rubble in the water and floating down the beach.
Leon walked up to the tree line than began to walk down the beach.
‘Even if my friends are looking for me that guy might be too so best to stay in cover.’

Blaine, Collin, Alexandra, Kelly and Erikson were all back at the school.
They sat in the courtyard, Erikson the only one standing.
‘Is there a search party out for Leon?’ Blain asked.
‘I’m not sure. With the village in ruins most of the rescue effort has been placed there trying to find survivors.’ Erikson answered.
‘Well someone needs to be searching for him.’ Collin said.
‘Yeah, we could look for him.’ Blain suggested.
‘No. You’re just kids and with those Aqua Magics out there you would be in more danger than anything.’ Erikson said rejecting Blains idea. ‘I’ll go and look for him myself.’

Leon wandered and wandered along the edge of the tree line. It was getting dark now and he wondered if he should stop and rest for the night or just keep pushing on until he found the town.
The night would have been a bit warm if it weren’t for a cool breeze coming from the ocean and his soaked torn clothes.
Leon shivered and sat down behind the bushes briefly, trying to avoid the wind.
As Leon ducked he noticed lights flash above his head. He could hear the voice of a woman shouting at someone. Peeking through a hole in the bushes Leon noticed a boat with a large light on the roof of the boat.
Leon scanned the deck and noticed two men standing on the deck while a woman with long silverish grey hair wearing a silver dress yelled at them. It didn’t take Leon long to realise that they were looking for him or long to realise that they knew the man who Erikson had fought.
‘The boy who was meant to have been killed by Aros was washed down this way and we know that if we don’t find him our leader will not be pleased.’ She shouted. ‘Get of the boat and search for him!’
The two men climbed off the boat and into the water. They charged through the water and onto the beach.
Leon move behind his peeking hole and began to crawl away making sure that he couldn’t be seen over the bushes.
Leon had only moved a meter or two when his hand landed on a twig. Among the silence of the trees and sand it made a large cracking noise.
Leon heard the men shout ‘Over there!’
There wasn’t enough time for Leon to crawl away he had to run and so he sprang to his feet and took off.

The two men heard Leon running and chased after him.
‘I can’t outrun these guys!’ Leon thought to himself. ‘I have to keep running, I have to be near the town, if I’m lucky I might run into someone I know.’
The chase seemed to take forever and Leon was running out of breath when finally he tripped over an above ground root of a tree.
Leon tumbled forward rolling and rolling until he came to a crashing halt.
Stumbling and a bit dazed Leon got back to his feet. He could hear the stomps of the two men chasing him.
Leon turned to run but as he began he was thrown to the ground.

Leon struggled to get free but he was pinned to the ground by a man twice his size.
Leon began to fight for freedom throwing punches and kicks but they all seemed to do nothing.
Finally in a last attempt to get free Leon punched up at the man’s chest, it worked.
The man gasped for air and fell back onto the ground. Leon had managed to wind him.
Rolling backwards Leon got to his feet and started to run again. This time only one of the men gave chase and Leon found himself having an advantage. This man wasn’t as large as the last and he was slower.

Seizing what he saw as an opening Leon spun back around and kicked the man in the chest.
Leon felt pain fly up his leg and he fell backwards. It didn’t take long for Leon to realise that the man had reinforced his chest with magic.
Leon scrambled backwards as the man raised one hand into the air.
Aqua coloured aura glowed around his hand and as it turned into a sphere that he was going to throw at Leon there was the sound of a magic attack hurtling towards them.
A brown mana blast hit the man sending him flying backwards.
Leon glanced around trying to find whoever had whoever had saved him.

Leon was lifted into the air by a familiar Adult.
‘Mr Erikson!’ Leon said loudly.
‘Shhh! There might still be other people around.’ Erikson spoke.
‘Sorry sir it’s just good to see you.’
‘You too Leon.’
Leon and Erikson silently crept off into the trees as Erikson lead Leon back to school.
