The water was swirling and grey with debris and dirt, it swirled and bent around the buildings.
Erikson briefly glanced back and forth surveying his surroundings. Was there anywhere he would have the advantage? Perhaps if he could get close enough to dry land away from the all the water. The only safe point Erikson currently had was the buildings scattered through the streets; however making it from one to the next could be difficult due to the water between them.
'Well then? What are you waiting for?' Erikson smirked.

The Aqua magic launched a wave of mana and Erikson countered by running forward and creating a slashing mana wave.
Both waves of mana cancelled the other out and the force of the magic explosion forced water away between Erikson and the Aqua magic.
Erikson leaped across the gap between the two buildings clearing it and landing on the other side.
The Aqua magic looked shocked as Erikson's fist slammed into his jaw sending his stumbling backwards.
As the Aqua magic came to a stop Erikson followed up with a blast of brown mana. It made contact forcing the Aqua magic of the roof of their building.

Water thrashed and the building trembled. A wall of water rose above the building and on top of it was the Aqua magic.
'You're a fool to think that your Brown magic can defeat me!'
Spears of water thrusted out from the wall and launched at Erikson.
Each spear he managed to dodge however he needed to put distance between himself and the Aqua magic.
Erikson made a attempt to draw the Aqua magic away from Leon and the boy. He jumped to the next building and the Aqua magic followed. This continued until Erikson had leaped as far as he could. He was running out of large buildings to stand on.
On the final building Erikson switched to the offensive. As he landed he spun around and a swell of brown mana flew up around him.
'Brown Tornado!' he shouted ad he launched the swirling mana at the Aqua magic.

The spell hit the wall of water causing it to dispel and force the Aqua magic onto the same building as Erikson.
'I'm impressed, you're allot better than what I thought.' The Aqua magic complemented.
'You too. If this is a fight to the death you can at least let me know your name.'
'My name? My name is Aros, Aros Venran.'
'I'm Liam Erikson. I am the head of the Brown house at the Magic Academy on this island.'
Aros looked shocked. He began to feel a sense of intimidation. He was ordered to avoid coming in confrontation with any of the heads of houses for they are known to be very powerful.

Erikson could sense Aros' fear. It appeared Aros hadn't even noticed that he had been lured into a trap.
Erikson had lured him into a section of the town where the water was shallow and they were nearing dry ground. Should he be given the opportunity Erikson would unleash his Elemental ability to control the ground and immobilize Aros.
Aros outstretched his right arm and water flowed into his hand and shaped itself like a harpoon.
'See I do have an advantage over you.' Aros taunted. 'So long as there is water around me I am able to shape that water into an object and use it to fight.'
Aros lunged forward, slashing the harpoon.
Erikson ducked and delivered a devastating uppercut that sent Aros stumbling backwards. Aros corrected himself and slashed again.
Erikson jumped backwards narrowly avoiding the water. But again Aros slashed and slashed and slashed and slashed, over and over until they were at the very edge of the building.

On the final slash Erikson grabbed Aros' arm, pulled him forward end flipped him onto the small concrete wall on the edge of the building.
Aros cried out in pain as he felt the ledge dig into his back.
Erikson threw the man of the ledge of the building and he landed in the shallow water injuring his shoulder when he hit the ground.
Erikson climbed down from the building and grabbed Aros dragging him to the land then put him down when they were far away enough from the water.

A small boat pulled up next to the building where Leon and the small boy waited to be rescued.
In the boat waited Blaine. He had a rope coiled and ready to be thrown to the top of the building.
'Hey Leon you up there?!' he shouted.
Leon's head poked out from the edge of the building.
'Blaine is that you?'
'Yeah it is man. I've got a rope that I'm going to throw up to you, when you grab it tie it to something then climb down!'
Blaine tossed the rope high into the air and Leon grabbed it.
Leon looked for a place to tie the rope and found a drain pipe on the wall.
Leon tied a tight knot and ran back over to the edge of the building.
'I'm lowering down a little kid that I saved so get ready to help him down!' Leon shouted.
'That's fine but I'll have to make a return trip for you, there is only enough space for one person to make it back safely. With all the rubble in the water the boat might capsize with more than that.'
'That's fine, just make sure to get him back safe.'

Leon signaled to the young boy to run to him and the boy ran.
Getting on his knees Leon put his hands on the boys shoulders.
'Ok, I'm just going to lower you down to my friend who will take you back to shore where you will be safe.' Leon said assuring the boy.
The boy nodded and grabbed the rope.
Leon held a firm grasp on the rope as he lowered it and the boy down to the boat.
'Ok Leon I've got him, I'll be back soon!' Blaine shouted.

Aros was conscious but he was in too much pain to say anything but complaints.
Good their getting the boys back to shore.' Erikson spoke.
Erikson looked down at Aros who was rolling on the ground in pain.
'Hold still. You broke your shoulder from your fall.' He ordered.
'I don't need your advice.'
'It wasn't advice; I don't want you to die so I can hand you in to the authorities.'
'Humph. Should have figured.'
Erikson stared at the building Leon stood waiting.
'It was foolish of you to pick a fight here. The boy siting on that building is an incredibly powerful; magic with immense potential. Had you angered him you may be leaving here with more than just a broken shoulder.'
'Is that so?'
'Yes it is. Now I suggest that if you have any friends helping you that you get them to turn themselves in.'
'Oh and why is that?'
'Because the odds were stacked against you the moment you landed on this island. If they run in to any of my colleagues and fight, they will be killed.'
'In that case we had better show you just how serious we truly are.'

Aros raised a hand into the air and with a click of his fingers the building where Leon was on cracked and then crumbled into the water.
'Leon no!' Erikson shouted.
Blaine had only just made it back to the shore when he saw. He was too far away from the building; there was no way he had time to get back to find Leon uninjured.
Everything seemed to slow down in those last few moments. Leon's feet slipped as the building crumbled beneath him. Leon fell and fell, into the grey water and was washed away.
