Tyler's POV
It was Thursday meaning Pete,Pat, and I would have to eat out. I haven't slept much nor ate but I have been writing music like crazy. Patrick thought it'd be a bad idea to have my phone when there's the chance Josh can text or call me so he got my music journal from the house. Despite me being here only two days I've managed to fill about 7 pages of music.

Patrick decided on the local diner so we had to drive into town. We walked in, sat down, and ordered our food. "How are you feeling?" Pete asked as we got our drinks. I waited for the waitress to leave before shrugging my shoulders. Pete only sighed. To change the subject I asked about their next tour and it got all three of us into deep conversation. I then heard someone crying and looked for that person. At the table in the corner Josh was sat crying into another mans shoulder. The one I saw him with the other day.
I felt anxious and then a ping of anger. Pete and Patrick didn't notice that I was clutching my fists under the table for they were too intrigued with whatever they were talking about. I tried to avoid looking at Josh when we got our food but my eyes would wander over to see him talking to that guy. I finished my salad in silence while trying not to feel bad for Josh. Pete got up to use the bathroom before we left and his chair squeaked causing Josh's eyes to look over where I was sat. His eyes remained on mine before Patrick brought me out of my trance. "Hey, you ready?" I looked up to see him and Pete standing up waiting for me. I nodded quickly and stood from my seat. I took one last glance at Josh to see he and the strange man were staring at me.

Once I was back at Pete's house I went straight upstairs to the guest room and took a shower. Why was Josh with him? I feel as if every time Josh lied to me about where he was, he was with that guy. Maybe Jenna was right.
you knew she was right the moment she said it
I didn't realize how long I was standing in the shower listening to my thoughts until the water grew cold. I turned off the shower and dried off while shivering. I looked at myself in the mirror for a bit and couldn't help but think, why? Why do people do the things they do? Why am I so different? Why am I not aloud to stay happy?
why are you so weak
I got into bed and stared at the ceiling above me. I let the whispers in my head lullaby me to sleep.
Josh's POV
It's been two days since I last seen Tyler. Two days since I saw his bandaged arm. Two days since he stared at me; scared of me. Two days sooner to Sunday, when I wanted to propose. I struggled to sleep but I didn't care. All I cared about was how Tyler was doing. I missed him so much and knowing that he wasn't in the best state of mind made me feel even worse. I called Shane to discuss the proposal over dinner. I needed to get out of the house, so these past two days have been spent in bed with me crying holding Tyler's hoodies.
Shane decided he wanted to meet at the diner in the middle of town. I agreed and decided not to change out of the current clothes I was wearing. I got into my car before I went back inside to get my sunglasses. The sun was extremely bright considering I haven't been exposed to it's rays in two days.
Once I got to the small diner I saw Shane sitting in the back corner. I sat across from him and let out a heavy sigh. "Alright, what's going on?" Before I could answer the waitress asked what we wanted to drink. We both got water and the girl left. "I don't know. Tyler...uh got into an accident the other day and before that we were fighting." I looked down at my feet and tried my best not to cry. "Woah, my god that blows I'm sorry." He sympathetically smiled and a few minutes of silence came. The waitress came back shortly after and gave us our drinks. "What would you like to eat?" She grinned while eyeing Shane. He ordered some type of sandwich and I said I wasn't hungry. Once our waitress left he continued, "Does that mean we can't do the proposal on Sunday?" I looked up at him with sad eyes. "I don't even know. We still have six days until then so hopefully he's okay." I sighed for what seems like the twentieth time. "Wait. Hopefully?" he asked confused. If only he knew what Tyler did.
Before I could respond the waitress came back with his sandwich. "Enjoy your food." I noticed her top had more buttons undone with her cleavage out. If I wasn't so upset I would have smiled to myself. She left and Shane looked at me waiting for my answer. "Well it's complicated. I'm not aloud to see him." His face held an expression of sympathy when my voice cracked. "Come over here man." I walked over to his side of the booth and plopped next to him while he rubbed my back.
"Why aren't you aloud to see him? What happened to him?" When he asked that I began to cry. I couldn't help myself, that really set me off. Shane continued to rub my back and I couldn't help but feel bad for him. Here we are out in public and I'm crying on him while he doesn't even get to eat his sandwich.
I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard a chair squeak in the middle of the room. The squeak was caused by Pete, he and Patrick were standing and once they moved I saw Tyler sitting behind them locking eyes with me.
