To family or very close friends, he can be kind and compassionate, but to most he is seen as aloof and stern, occasionally cruel. He enjoys fighting and feeling important, but when faced with important decisions, he freezes. Shiro is a follower, and will complete any order given, but only if given by someone he respects.
Background: Shiro is the fourth son in a line of five sons and one daughter. His father was Katsu Askura, a samurai well-known for being ruthless. Shiro grew up learning about samurai and bushido, his only dream as a child of being just like his father. He accomplished his goal when became a samurai at 18, and now seeks to surpass his father's achievements.
Important side characters with them: His little sister, Taka who he has a soft spot for. His oldest brother Kohaku, and his father Katsu, both of whom he looks up to.
What influences their decisions in battle: He's strategic in his thinking, and tries to think of every possible outcome. He believes in killing others for a good cause, but also in an honorable death.
Additional information about their clan: The Askura clan is one of the oldest clans, and most known for being strategists. Shiro's father Katsu in particular was well-known for rarely losing battles.
