I went through the grading rubric in detail, so you guys know how I'll be judging and specifically what I'll be judging on. Hope this helps :)
Harsher grading scale for each specific section (change to fit specific section, like if it's 0.6 total then just apply these rules to the different numbers).
1-3 mistakes –0. 1 point taken off
4 -5 mistakes – 0.2 points taken off
6-7 mistakes –0.3 points taken off
8-9 mistakes –0.4 points taken off
10 or more mistakes –0.5 points taken off
Syntax (2.5)
Grammar? –0.5
Good Punctuation? –0.5
Spelling? –0.5
Good Sentence Structure ( run-ons included here)? –0.5
Flows Smoothly? –0.5
This section is pretty self-explanatory. You have one grammar mistake you get 0.4 for grammar. You have a missed comma, you get 0.4 for punctuation, etc.

Content (1.5)
Follows task? –0.5 Did you include all the necessary aspects of the task, or did you leave something out. Depending on just how much you left out, will determine how many points are taken off. If you went off on your own thing and only include one part of the task, then you'll probably have a 0.4 deduction, which means you would get 0.1 here.
Adheres to Word Count Requirements? –0.5 Did you go over? If you did, you'll get points taken off by how many. Every 100 words over will result in a 0.1 deduction. If you also go too far under the word count, it's the same deal. So if I give you 1,500 words and you only wrote 200, then I would take off a couple points.
Realistic or is it too far out there?–0.5 If your character can fly, or if he does magic or gets his head cut off and he's still running around like he's okay, then I'm probably going to take off a lot of points here. However, if his sword fighting technique involves a lot of jumping and learning to climb and sour through the air, then that makes it realistic.

Story (3)
Creativity? --0.5 Did you ONLY do the task? Just the bare minimum of what you're supposed to do, or did you actually throw in your own creativeness in there. He not only went to war, but he went to war because his sister pressed him to in order to honor his father (this is a really stupid, really small example, but you get my meaning). Or he didn't only go to war, he went to war on horses that are especially bred for warfare and your entry included all the aspects from that. Now that's creativeness.
Characterization? –0.5 How well did you portray your character? Other people's characters? Your side characters? Were they just bleh characters with no goals, and literally are only there as filler? Or are your characters all rich with layers of depth to them?
Emotion? –0.5 How well did you include your own characters thoughts and emotions? Were they nonexistent, or did you give us a clear idea as to what they were thinking and feeling the whole time?
Action scenes realism? –0.5 Seriously, I am so picky about this. If your action scenes don't make sense or are too vague, then I'm going off points. This works the same way with grammar and syntax.
Dialogue (natural or stiff)? –0.5 Does your character sound like a normal human being or do they sound too weird? Even though everyone has their own way of talking (especially Japanese people) they still have a general normal way of speaking.
Character growth and development? –0.5 Is your character the same way every time. He's always reckless so every entry he jumps ahead without thinking and gets himself into trouble? Okay then something needs to happen and he needs to change, or else points will be deducted here.

History (3):
Story is historically accurate –1 If the enemy is able to listen to them on a radio and know where their positions are, then obviously that's not historically accurate.
Character is historically accurate? –1 If your character loves texting, then that's a problem here.
Weapons and any objects included is historically accurate? –1 If your enemy clan starts charging in with tanks and machine rifles, I'm going to be concerned.
Total:
Individual Opinions/Concerns (3):
Good grasp of vocabulary (descriptiveness)? –0.6 How well do you use your vocabulary? Do you talk like a ten year old, or are you a mature writer, no matter how old you really are?
Engaged? –0.6 Am I bored? I better not be.
Emotional Impact? –0.6 Do I get the feels? If Nobunaga watches his wife die, or a woman has to watch her husband die underneath a cherry blossom tree, then I better be feeling something.
Hook? –0.6 How gripping is your introduction? Did you immediately engage me into your story? Or did it drag and I took a while to get into it?
Originality? -0.6 Seriously, if you copy off someone else, or make this feel the Hunger Games, I might have to scream. Make it your own original work please.
