"So do you?"
"Do I...?"
"Like me?"
***
"Connor I-"
"I understand," I heard him say sadly.
"No, I wasn't done," I took a deep breath relaxing myself, "I do. I do really, really like you."
"Really?" He practically yelled.
"Yes, but can we keep it to ourselves for now?" I ask hesitatingly.
"Why? We dated before?"
"I know it's just-"
"You don't want people to know you're gay? Cause at school everyone already-"
"Actually I kind of convinced everyone I was straight, and made out with Taylor in the hallway...twice."
"Twice? One wasn't enough?" He jokingly asked with a fake shocked voice.
"Shut up," I laughed, but still felt a pain of guilt wash over me.
"Nah," he continued laughing but then bluntly stopped, "I missed this."
I stopped laughing as well, realization rushing over me, "I did too."
"We'll talk more right? No ignoring?"
Guilty.
"Okay, sounds good." I smile.
I look over at the clock, it's 1 o' clock. We started talking at 11:00.
"Damn how long have we been talking?" He asks reading my mind.
"We been talking forever."
"Doesn't feel like it," Connor comments.
I start to say something but get interrupted by Jesus walking in, "Hey."
"Hi," I say as he drys his hair with a towel and looks for a shirt to cover his topless body.
"Moms want you."
I lift a eyebrow, "why?"
"Beats me," he shrugs slipping the shirt that's probably dirty since he picked it up from the ground, not like he cares.
"Okay, I have to go," I say into the phone, "I'll text you."
"Awe fine I'll be waiting," he jokes.
"Okay, bye."
I plug in my phone and get up.
"Was that Taylor?" Jesus smirks.
"No," I frown, "we broke up."
"Really?" He sits up, "is that what's been bothering you lately? Did she break up with you? If so she's a bitch."
"No I broke up with her, and no that's not what's been bothering nothing has been bothering me, I'm fine."
"Right, you sure are," he says sarcastically, "why did you break up with her?"
"It didn't work out," I walked out before he could come up with any more questions.
I near their bedroom door when Brandon's opens.
"Moms are in the living room," he reforms me.
"Right, thanks," I mutter.
I jog down the stairs to find Moms sitting on the chairs across from the couch.
"Hey love, come sit down."
"Uh what did I do?"
