"You ringed," he smiles wide as he sees my face.
I try to make the most convincing smile ever.
He notices something is wrong.
"Is everything alright?"
"Yeah," I prop my head on my hand, "something happened at school and I needed to hear your voice."
"Oh, do you want to talk about it."
"Not really," I sigh, "2 more days and school will be over. I can last."
"Is someone messing with you?"
"Nothing I can't handle."
"You're the most stubborn person alive, I swear." He says seriously.
"I know," I flutter my eyes at him and laugh, "but you love me."
"Of course!" He says as dramatically as possible.
We laugh some more, and continue talking for a couple of hours. Until Jesus comes in saying he's getting ready for bed so I better shut up.
I sigh sadly, "I really miss you."
"I miss you too," he frowns, "I got to get to bed anyways it's almost 12 here."
"Wow it's only turning 10 here."
"Distance man, it sucks."
"Yeah," I frown too, "well bye I'll talk to you tomorrow."

The next day at lunch Siris won't shut up about anything and everything.
"You know are you ever going to tell me what happened yesterday."
I don't say anything. The only thing I see is Jake and 3 other guys laughing at the other table across the lunch area.
Those are the guys, they have to be.
"Hello?" Siris waves his hand in front of my face, "earth to Jude."
"Yeah? What?" I turn my attention to him.
"Do you know what I said?"
"Yeah."
"And...? Are you going to enlighten me?"
"No," I pick up my tray, "not right now. I'm going to class."
"Dude there's 15 minutes left," he points to his watch.
"I need help from a teacher."
He rolls his eyes.
I need a better excuse.
I throw my trash away, and head for the bathrooms, walking in a circle to get to another hallway, where I don't have to go to the same bathroom.
"Hey Judy."
I'm slammed against the set of lockers.
I'm so stupid.
"Dude just lay off," I shove Jake off of me.
"Why should I?" He pins me back against the wall.
He's alone, for a change.
"Tomorrow is the last day, just lay off of me will ya," I shove him again, he almost falls but catches himself.
"I'm getting my last jollies," he laughs and pushes me against the wall, like it makes him a so much higher power.
"Haha," I say sarcastically.
"Shut up," he says disgustingly.
"What have I ever done to you?!" I yell and shove him off me again, this time he does fall.
He sits up fast and angry, "you took away my best friend!"
"And who would that be?"
"Connor Stevens," he spats the name like a nasty curse word.
