I need to be home

Callie's POV
Arizona just picked Sofia up two hours ago. I can't believe this happened. How did I lose full custody of my own child? I can't be without her.
I'm in Meredith's house. I walk in the kitchen and look at Mer who is somehow trying to cook.
She looks at me. "Oh Callie. Stop crying sweetie." She comes over to me and hugs me. "Call Arizona, she will let you see Sofia if you want to."
I take a step back, breaking the hug. "How do you know that? Did she tell you something?" I ask.
"No. She didn't need to. She's like that. She's not going to keep you from seeing your daughter. She just not going to let you take her daughter all the way across the country."
Mer is right. Arizona isn't going to keep me from seeing Sofia. I won't be able to take her home with me but at least I can see her.
"Your right. Tell Penny that I went to Arizona's." I started to walk to the front door.
"Callie! Wait wait!" Meredith said screaming and coming after me.
"You can't go now. It's to soon. Maybe tomorrow" she says.
"Go home with Penny. You guys talk. Figure out what to do about your relationship. Tomorrow you'll talk to Arizona." She says standing between me and the door.
"Ok. You're right".
"Penny, let's go home sweetie" I scream.
"Ok. She says coming down the stairs" she grabs her back and I grab mine.
"Thank you for everything Mer" I say hugging her.
"Any time she says"

At Callie's house
"We should talk" Penny says sitting on the couch.
"Yes we should." I say sitting beside her. "Do you want to go first?" I ask
"Ok. I think the bottom question is: are you willing to leave your daughter behind to go with me?" She asks.
I sit there thinking for a minute.
"I don't know. How do you choose between the 2 persons who you love the most in life and another who you just started to like a lot?" I ask
"2 persons? Who is the second one?"
Penny asks looking at me.
"What?" I ask confused.
"You said two persons. You said: how do you choose between the two persons you love the most"
"No I didn't. I said The person!"
"No, you said Two persons. Oh my God. It's Arizona isn't it?" She asks getting tears in her eyes.
I put my left hand on her leg. "I'm sorry Penny. I tried. I swear I tried. I tried so hard to not love her and to love you but I can't. I can't not love her."
"She cheated on you Calliope" Penny said turning her head the other way.
"I know! But so did I when she went to Africa."
"You weren't together then! I would never cheat on you!"
"We weren't together but I still loved her and she loved me. She stayed after I told her about the baby. She stayed after the car crashed. I didn't stay with her after the plain crash. I thought I did but I didn't. I was only focusing on what I wanted and I needed. During the time after the car crash. It was two years we didn't have sex. She stayed. Never pushed me. Never cheated. She cheated because I wasn't paying her attention" I say
"Your saying she had the right to cheat on you?" Penny says laughing
"No. I didn't say that. But she's sorry and she proved me she was sorry so many times."
"So now what?" Penny says turning her head to me.
"I'm so sorry." I say kissing her cheek.
"I think you should leave"
"You have got to be kidding me." She laughs. She picks up the little things she had in my house and leaves without saying a word.
I stand there for a few minutes and then I call Mer.
"Mer I did it."
"You did what?"
"I broke up with Penny!"
"You what? Out of the blue? Why did you do that Callie?"
"You know I love Arizona.."
"Oh Callie.. Yes I know. But it's been such a long time. If you still love her, why did you involve yourself with Penny?"
"I don't know, I think I was trying not to love Arizona but I can't."
"I know. Everyone who knows you knows how much you love Arizona. I told you so many times not to let her go. Derek cheated on me and I let him stay. We worked past that. Callie now it might be to late."
"Mer don't say that! Please don't say that. I can't live without her."
I say getting panicked
"Callie you have been living without her for four months now. You can't expect her to just come running to your arms after you tell her that you want her."
"Oh Mer you're right! What have I done. Why did I leave Arizona so quickly?"
"And you can't tell her now. She'll think it's only because you want Sofia back.
"Oh Mer what have I done?"
"Come over. We'll talk. But right now you will just have to live with the pain of not being able to be with the one you love." Mer says
"Ok. I'm coming over right now.
Mer and I talk and play with the kids for four hours. When it's time for them to go to bed I say goodbye to Mer so she can rest and I go to the hospital, desperately hoping to find Arizona just so I can look at her or smile at her.
Of course when I get there there's no sign of her. Of course she will be with Sofia.
I walk into a closet and cry. I get out after like 15 minutes.
But just like Arizona, there's no sign of Penny. I go in Miranda's office.
"What happened to you?" She asks
"Why?" I ask
"Penny came in and quite. She said you two broke up and she was leaving for New York right away."
"Oh. Yeah we broke up. Not filling like talking about it." I say looking at the floor.
"Ok. I understand. Just don't tell Arizona right now because she'll think your saying it just to get Sofia back"
"Say what?" I ask.
"Arizona is the only one who thinks you don't love her. Everyone who looks at you looking at Arizona can tell that you love her enormously".
"You knew too? I need to get my hands on a surgery."
"Well you're on the right place. New trauma in 3 minutes" she says getting up.
"Ok let's go!" I say. We leave Miranda's office and go to the pit.

One month later
Arizona's POV
It's been four weeks since the court house hearing and since that day, no sign on Penny. Bailey said she quit. And Meredith told me she and Callie broke up but Callie doesn't look sad. We cross looks all the time and sometimes I feel like she still loves me like I love her but there's no chance. Even when she was with Penny, we still crossed looks. April says she never stopped loving me but if that's so why didn't she tell me? It's been a month since Penny left. Why haven't she said anything? I'm probably just imagining.
Later that day Callie and I have a surgery together.
It took 3 hours and we just kept looking up at each other.
"Will you too stop having eye sex in front of everyone, we are almost finished." Owen said
Callie and I didn't say a thing, just looked down. I didn't look at her again.
She left and I stayed finishing my part.
"Dr.Robbins, I'm sorry to ask you but Doctor Torres left her phone here. Would you mind giving it to her?" A nurse asks.
"No. Not at all!" I grab my phone and Callie's and head out.
Her phone rings for a texted message. I look at it because I thought it was mine.
"Meredith: It's time to tell Arizona. It has been a month."
Time to tell me what? I take the message out of the screen and see her wallpaper. It's a picture of me. Not me and Sofia. Just me. And I have to say, it's a good picture of me. I click my phone and look at my wallpaper. It's a picture of Callie! Just Callie. Does she have a picture of me for the same reason I have a picture of her?
I walk to the doctors lounge to look for her. I see her talking to Bailey.
"Go talk to her!" I hear Bailey whisper as I come closer to her.
"I'm sorry to interrupt but you left your phone in surgery and a nurse asked me to give it to you" I say.
"Thank you" she says.
I walk out.
10 minutes later I'm coming out of a patient's room and feel a hand on my back. I turn around. It's Callie.
"Hey!" she says
"Hey!" I say
"Can we talk?" She asks
"Yeah sure" I respond
"But not here. Do you mind going on a walk in the park next to the hospital with me?" She asks
"No not at all. Do you want to go now? I ask
"You don't have any consults now?"
"No. We can go"
"Ok let's go" Callie says.
We get to the park and stop at a place on a top of a cliff.
"Arizona.." she starts. Looking at me.
"... I'm sorry I left. I've always been in love with you. I love you so much my heart falls out of my chest just looking at you. Please stay with me. I promise I will never leave again or hurt you again if you promise the same. Please promise. Please say you'll stay with me. I'm so sorry for not telling you sooner. For hurting you the way I did. Please forgive me!"
Her speech was like 10 minutes long. When she finishes I kiss her. I kiss her so passionately, so desperately. She kisses me back! She puts her hand on my hair so she can push me closer. I've missed her so such!

Callie's POV
We kiss like there's no rush. I push her so close to me that we have no place between us. I missed her so much. I'm never letting her go again.

Arizona's POV
We separate a few minutes later for air but just our heads. We go back to kissing and it was one of the best kisses we ever had, because we were so desperate for each other. In that kiss I could tell how much she loved me and she could tell how much I love her.
I stop the kiss and hug her.
"I missed you so much!" She says
"I missed you too. I though you didn't love me anymore. You dated Penny."
I say with a sad voice.
She pulls back so she can look at me. "I was trying to forget you. But I couldn't. I couldn't stop loving you. And I don't ever want to try again." She puts our heads together.
"I'm sorry I cheated..." I say
"Shh.. I know! I'm sorry I left! I'm never leaving you again." She says
"You better" I say smacking her arm a bit.
"You're so beautiful" she says and I kiss her.
