Meant to be

When you're on your own I'll send you a sign

I ru thro the doors of the OR.
"What the? She's alive" I hear a "bip bip bip"
Meredith comes running after me.
"I'm sorry Callie, she's in a coma. We can't for sure say if she's waking up" Meredith says putting a hand on my back.
I walk closer to Arizona and kiss her cheek. Leaving my head close to her a little longer. "She's strong. She will wake up. We'll get thro this."
I say.
"Ok. Let's take her to her room" Meredith told the nurse.
They all came to her room and said comforting things to me and to Arizona.
Two days latter I was sleeping on the left side of her bed. With my head against her hand.
I wake up with the "bip bip bip" and then I feel her hand move under my head. I look up surprised and se her trying to open her eyes.
"Hey! Hey! Don't force it. I'm here." I said laughing and crying from joy.
She opened her eyes and said
"C-Callie.. Y-Your on m-my wire".
I looked down to see I was pressing her IV wire.
"Sorry" I said laughing.
She looked around.
"What happened?" She asked.
"My dad.." I started then I fell into pieces and started to cry my heart out.
"Callie.. Don't cry!! I'm fine! I'm fine! Please stop crying" she said.
"I'm not! See?" I said wiping my tears away and smiling to her.
"I thought I was going to lose you.." I said looking down.
"You're not! I'm right here!" She said grabbing my hand with her right hand.
"Now what are you waiting for? Kiss me" she asked smiling and I did.
Arizona and I didn't touch for no reason. Every time we touch it was meant to be. We touched with feeling and with grace. We didn't take every touch for granted and so every time we touched, it was the most amazing feeling in the world.
We both smiled into the kiss, but not separating out lips from each other.
"I'm really glad your alive!" I told her pushing away just a little bit so I could see her eyes.
"I'm really glad to be alive!" She said and pulled my head to hers so out lips would meat again.
The kiss was so tender but so hard at the same time because we were so happy but so desperate for each other.
