Arizona's POV
"Sofia come on baby!" Callie screams next to me.
"Damn this girl, Sofia!" Callie screams.
I wince at the loud sound.
"I'm sorry!" Callie kisses my forehead and rests an arms around my waist.
"Sofia!" Callie screams again.
"Sofia don't make me come get you!" Callie threatens.
Sofia comes down with a pink skirt and Callie loses it.
"No! No way! Go change! I set a black skirt to go with your outfit! Go put it on right now!"
"I want mommy to dress me!" Sofia pouts.
"Well too bad! Mommy can't!" Callie says picking our purses up and handing me mine.
"But I want mommy!" Sofia asks.
"Sofia.."
"Callie, just.." I say. I leave her warm embrace and go upstairs. Sofia follows me.
"Mommy why are you sad?" Sofia asks while I take her shoes off.
"Because grandpa went to heaven.." I say in an automatic mode, not to break down.
"When you went to Florida I was sad too but you came back. Don't be sad mommy!" Sofia says looking down at me.
I pull the black skirt up her legs and grab her shoes.
"Well.. When people go to heaven they don't come back for a really long time.." I tell her.
"Like for a month?" Sofia asks.
"A little more than that baby girl!" I say kissing her forehead and picking her up.
"Ready?" Callie asks at the bottom of the stairs.
I nod and hand Sofia to Callie.
Callie walks to the car and buckles Sofia as I get into the car.
Callie goes back to lock the door and gets into the drivers seat. After pulling away Callie rests her hand on my leg as I look out the window, tears falling down my face.
I just want to go back. To last night, last Christmas, my wedding day. I want to go back.

Flashback of the night before
I wake up in Callie's arms, feeling her playing with my hair.
"Hey there pretty girl!" Callie says as I look up at her.
"What happened?" I ask her.
"You fell asleep and asked me not to fall asleep so I just stayed up to wake you from your nightmares.."
"So it's true? It wasn't just a dream?" I ask her.
"I'm sorry.." Callie says.
My eyes fill with tears again and Callie quickly wipes them of.
"Hey hey! No crying! For the next hours, I planned a date for us so no crying!" Callie says kissing my forehead.
"A date?" I ask her.
"Yes! Come on!" Callie says getting up.
I grab her arm and lean into her as we walk to the kitchen.
In the counter is a large pepperoni pizza, 4 Starbucks cups, 4 chocolate chip cookies, an apple crumble and a chocolate mousse, along with a bowl of gummy bears and m&m's, my favorite.
"You did all of this?" I ask her.
"Actually..." Callie says sitting down and pulling a bench closer to her for me to sit down.
"I though about all this but I wanted to hold you all night so I got an intern to bring us this. He brought a pack of cigarettes to but I thought you might need those latter and I don't need to be smelling your cigarette breath on our date.."
I smile taking a seat next to her and wrapping my arm around hers.
Callie holds up a slice of pizza and I take a bite.
"Thank you! It's perfect!"
"You're very welcome!" Callie says taking a bite of the slice.
"So what are your planes besides us eating all of these?" I ask Callie.
"Slow dancing and Mamma Mia.." Callie smiles. I can't help but smile at her and for the next few hours, like Callie had planned, there's no crying, but lots of dancing, laughing and loving. Only Callie would make me feel so good after something so bad.
When I feel tired again Callie carries me to our bed and lays with me till I fall asleep.
When I got up, everything was cleaned, a pack of cigarettes rested on my night stand, Callie was dressed in black and Sofia was here.
End of flashback

Callie's POV
Since waking up Arizona hasn't said a full sentence.
She held Sofia for most of the morning. Crying and crying. She got dressed in black and went outside to smoke until we were about ready to leave.

"Isn't that enough? You smoked almost the hole thing and the funeral didn't even start yet.." I ask Arizona.
"No." It's all she says.
And for the hole ceremony she doesn't say a thing. No one sheds a tear. Lots of military people and trombones playing. I guess composure is something all of military families are used to.
I just hold Sofia in my lap and take looks at Arizona throughout the ceremony to check on her but she's cold as a glass.
And then it finally comes.
Sofia goes to play with her grandma and everyone leaves and that's when Arizona loses it.
She leans down on the stone and bursts out. I wrap my arms around her and whisper reassuring words to her but nothing calms her down. I try everything. To hold her tighter, to sing to her. Everything.
"Do you want to smoke?" I ask her.
Arizona nods yes and I take the pack out of my jack it and light on up. I hand it to her but Arizona shakes her head no.
"Ok, fine.." I take the cigarette in my mouth and inhale. It's not my first time so I don't cough or choke but it still feels disgusting.
Before exhaling I grab Arizona's head and pull her to me. Kissing her and introducing my tongue in her mouth so it's easier for her to feel the cigarette on my breath. Arizona calms down a little and I go back to the cigarette and back to her. Calming her down enough that she stops crying. I put the cigarette on the ground and put it out.
I hug Arizona close for a few minutes.
"Do you want me to leave you alone for a few minutes?" I ask her.
"No.." Arizona says quietly. It's so soft it's almost unheard but nothing about her slips by me. I was made to understand her.
"Ok I won't. I'll stay right here! Do you want to stay just a little more so you can say goodbye?" I ask her.
Arizona turns in my arms and rubs the stone.
"No. I'm ready to leave now!" She says looking down.
"Ok!" I say. I get up and bring her up with me.
We walk to the car slowly. With her in my arms and me kissing her forehead.
Sofia is already buckled in. Barbara is staying with her sister and we leave to go back home.
Once home I lay Sofia down for bed as Arizona smokes the last cigarettes outside.

Arizona's POV
Callie washes me and my teeth in the shower and then dresses me in my pjs and carries me to bed before going to take a shower herself.
After her shower Callie puts her pjs on and joins me on the bed.
I move closer to her, cuddling with her and Callie wraps her arms around me, intertwining our legs together. Both our hairs are washed so they feel good in my head.
Callie kisses my cheek before resting her head in my pillow and closing her eyes.
I lean in and give her a kiss on the cheek and then in her soft lips.
"Thank you for everything, for taking such good care of me today.." I tell her.
"It's ok baby! It's my job to take care of you. You'll do the same for me.." Callie says giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"And plus, I promised your dad I would do my best to take care of you so I will.." Callie says resting her head next to mine.
"Thank you.. I love you!" I kiss her.
"I love you too! So much!" Callie says.
"I'm sorry you had to smoke.."
"Yeah?! That's how much I love you.. That thing was terrible..." Callie says.
I laugh.
"They were pretty bad.." Callie laughs.
"Tomorrow will be a better day! I promise!" Callie says kissing my nose.
"I know.."
I lean in for a deep kiss.
"Sleep tight my love.." I tell Callie resting my head really close to hers on my pillow.
"You too love, you too!" Callie says.
And somehow we drift of to sleep in a matter of seconds.
