We fight, we kill

Arizona's POV
After the game Callie and I went home. We kissed our way into the house and upstairs. We striped each other and fell on the bed only in our underwear. Callie was kissing between my breasts when my phone rang. I picked it up and Callie continued.
"This better be good!" I say.
"Arizona?" I hear April on the other side of the phone.
"April what's the matter?" I ask. Callie falls to the side. "I'm sorry" I mouth to her. She nods.
"There's a trauma coming in, a VIP that's why I didn't page you, you need to get here really fast!" April says.
"Ok I'm coming! Wait for me I'm coming!" I say! I get up and get dressed in a hurry. Then I remember Callie is still in bed and I go to her side of the bed.
"I'm sorry I need to run to the hospital, will you be ok?" I sit down on the bed
"Yeah just go!" She has her back to me.
"Callie.." I say putting my hand in her arm.
"Just go!" She says. I stay there for a moment and then I run out of the bedroom. I have tears forming in my eyes knowing I have messed up and I miss a step on the stairway. I can't sop myself from falling and so I fall 20 steps. When I get to the bottom I don't get up.
"What happened? Are you ok?" Callie came running to me.
"I'm fine!" I get up. I give her a kiss on the cheek and walk to the door.
"Arizona.."
"Just.. It's fine Callie.." I say and leave.
It's a stupid thing. Callie is mad at me and I'm mad at her but I don't know why. I'm already missing her so much. What have we done?

I get to the hospital and the nurse tells me my patient is ready for me in surgery. I look thro his scans before going into the OR. After about three hours of operating I'm almost done an I ask the nurse to page Callie to fix the boys broken femur.
"I'm here! What do you need?" Callie comes in.
"He has a broken femur..."
"Ok let's see.." Callie comes up to the table and looks at the boys leg.
"I need to get in thro the whip." She says to the nurse.
"What? No! There's no way! I've been here for three hours trying to save his life you're not going to put that in jeopardy just so it can look pretty!" I say to her.
"I'm sorry, I'm the orthopedic surgeon here and I don't recall asking you for advice on how o repair his leg."
"Oh I know but I'm not going to let you ruin everything I did and putting his live on the line.." I screaming by now.
"Because he needs it! His leg has a better chance this way.." Callie is screaming to.
"His leg can be mended thro a direct surgery on the leg, it doesn't need to be on the hip!" I scream.
"I'm sorry but I'm doing it my way!" Callie picks up the scalpel.
"Put the scalpel down Callie!" I scream.
She looks at me and then puts the scalpel down.
"Thank you!" I say to her. I finish my part and Callie finishes hers. We walk out of surgery!
"I did it as you told me because you are my girlfriend and because I didn't have the strength to fight you anymore but if you disrespect me like that again in the OR I'm not going to care if you're my girlfriend or not." Callie says.
"I'm sorry but I was right!" I say.
"Arizona I'm telling you, don't ever talk to me like that again!" Callie argues!
"Oh you're threatening me? Or what? You're going to beat the crap out of me like your father did? Is that what you're saying Callie?" I ask looking at her.
"What? No! I would never hurt you! Arizona.." She comes closer to me reaching her arm to touch me. I pull back.
"Arizona?"She says..
"Callie.." I nod my head no.
"Are you afraid of me?" She asks pulling back.
"I.." I try to say.
"I'm sorry for what I said! I never meant I was going to beat you! I could never do that to you! I could never hurt you on purpose less along hit you! How could you think that.." Callie says getting tears in her eyes.
"You were screaming and I.."
"Yeah.. I deserve it.. " Callie says.
"Callie don't.."
"What?" She asks. "My father beat the crap out of you! I was guilty for that! I should have been able to stop him and I wasn't. I couldn't and now.." She starts crying.
Meredith comes over and hugs Callie. "Let's just get out of here for a second ok?" She says to Callie and looks at me. I nod in agreement and after they're gone I leave to.

Callie's POV
It's nine pm and I drive to Arizona's. I come in the house and lock the door. I put my bag down and walk upstairs. The door to her bedroom is opened and I can see her laying down on the bed, crawled up in a fetus position.
I get in and change to my pjs.
I lay down with my back to her.

Arizona's POV
I hear her come in. I can't sleep I need to hold her and for her to know she can hold me. "Callie?" I ask. She doesn't respond.
"Callie please!" I start to sob.
"Callie talk to me!" I turn by body to face her.
Callie looks over her shoulder in surprise and when she sees me crying she quickly turns her body to me and comes closer but not to much. She's afraid I'm afraid of her.
I move closer to her and grab her waist lowly and then I look to her eyes. She's looking down but when my hands touch her body she looks up. I pull her closer to me and put my left leg between hers. Our legs are the only parts of our bodies that are touching.
"Arizona.." She breaks the silence.
"I know.. Me too!" I say and I pull her closer to me, now our hole bodies are touching except our faces.
Callie leans in to kiss me but then pulls back.
"Callie don't be afraid! I'm not! I'm sorry I acted like I was but I'm truly not! Nothing about you scares me. Just the fact that I might lose you." I say looking at her. Our eyes meet.
"I'm sorry I made you feel unsafe. I'm sorry about my dad. I'm never forgiving myself for that!" Callie starts crying!
"Hey, hey!" I say moving my head closer to hers and giving her a soft peek on the lips.
"It was your father who did it to me, not you! I never blamed you! You're perfect to me! I love you just how you are so don't try to chance and to seem more nice to me because I don't want that! I want the soft you but also the hard you! The one who stands up for me and fights for what she believes. I love you for what you are now. I love everything about you so don't try to change ok?" I ask her. She looks at me.
"Ok!" She says.
I kiss her. First soft then hard. So hard. I was so desperate for her. For her kiss, for her touch, for her embrace. I pull her arms to around my waist and I move my body closer to hers.
Right about then I feel Callie going back to her old self. She grabs me harder and pulls me closer to her. Her tongue enters my mouth and I moan with pleasure as at the same time she grabs on of my thighs and pulls it up against her waist. We make out for about ten minutes.
"I love you so much!" Callie says.
"I love you to! So much!" I say.
"Arizona I.." Callie starts.
"I know Callie! I know!"
"I just need you to know I would never lay a finger on you! Never! I swear for my life!" She says looking me in the eyes!
"I know Callie! I swear I know! I'm sorry I backed out! I should have never! I'm not afraid of you!" I say and grab her waist.
"Good!" She says and kisses my cheek.
"Mostly because I know I could take you down in a second!" I whisper in her ear. Callie smiles.
"Yes you could love. Yes you could" Callie says smiling looking at me.
"I don't ever want to spend another day without kissing you!" I tell her
"Me neither!" Callie responds! "I'm so glad we made up!" Callie says.
"Have I told you I love you?" I say.
"You have!" Callie responds. "I love you too!"
I smile and Callie kisses me. I break the kiss and putt our foreheads together and close my eyes. Callie does the same thing.
After a mine Callie lyes down moving her body from her side to having her back on the bed. She pushes me with her and I lay my head in her chest and intertwine our legs. Callie grabs my waist with her left hand and I grab her right. I intertwine our finger and I kiss her hand. Callie kissed my head.
I rest our hands on Callie's waist and look up at her.
I close my eyes sinking in the moment and then I open my eyes.
"I love you so much sweetie!" Callie says.
"Me too! So so much!" I say and Callie kisses me. I smile.
"Don't ever let me go!" I tell her.
"I won't! I promise!" Callie says and smiles at me. She looks at a picture of us I have on top of the dresser in front of the bed and I rest my head back on Callie's chest.
"You're my everything!" Callie says.
"YOU'RE my everything!" I say.
I smile and I hear her smile too.
We fall asleep a minute after.
