Chapter Six

(Kismet)

Seokjin's POV:

My eyes look down at my watch. Break wasn't for another twenty minutes yet it felt like we were. Business was slow today.

About 10 customers had came in and bought something. Others had went in and out with out bothering us.

It was so hot that I could feel the hot breeze come inside of me making me more irritated than I already was.

My eyes kept looking down at my watch. Break wasn't for another twenty minutes yet it felt like we were. Business was slow today.

About 10 customers had came in and bought something. Others had went in and out with out bothering us.

It was so hot that I could feel that hot breeze come inside of me making me more irritated than I already was. On top of that, I felt so dizzy. Twice today I had to steady myself on things in order to fall to the ground.

I hated people who misplaced things or made piles of cosmetics messy. I was the only who was in charge of rearranging things than any one else on this job. Today I wasn't really up to fixing people's messes.

The rack of lipsticks were perfectly arranged in order. Woman wear so much make up, I don't even know how they do it. Seeing so much make up makes me go bonkers.

Why did I even applied to this job in the first place? That's right, cause I was desperate for a job.

Looking back to make sure the row of lipsticks was perfect, my head snaps back to the sound of my name. My hand goes to my back and I rub it as I walk back to the register.

These days I've been feeling so exhausted. I can't sleep in the night and when I do, I go to sleep around four in the morning. I verily I enjoy sleeping because problems after problems start to arrive.

Taehyung has made process but verily. I have a feeling that it's Namjoon's friend Hoseok who's making him happy rather than him sorting things out with the therapist.

Seeing him happy brings me joy, what doesn't bring me joy is seeing him hanging out with someone around my age. For fucks sake Taehyung is fifteen.

I'm really in between what's good for him and what makes him happy. Sure I could make him stay away from Hoseok though that would be worse because I would rather not see him sulk in the couch watching international movies while he's staring into space than see him joking around with Jungkook and smiling from ear to ear as he talks to me about his day.

I'm probably a horrible brother for letting him hang out hours with a 21 year old but I don't care, if he makes him happy than go ahead. Just as long the relationship is solidly based on friendship and nothing more.

God I hope he likes Hoseok as a friend and not as something more.

I pass an aisle of creams and lotions before I find my self in the middle of the store where a fiberglass table is displaying different methods of getting rid of wrinkles around the eyes. A very popular singer and actress is showing one of our most popular method: a wrinkle correction laser. The actress is smiling while her hand holding the laser is around the corner of her right eye.

I go next to it and fix the poster stand to its original position and turn to face the register.

Hae-won was counting money as she talked to someone, her eyes steady on the piece of paper. The guy next to her was slightly buff. He was leaning on the counter his butt popping out. His haircut made him familiar. The shirt was dark blue and his shoes dirty around the sides.
