Chapter Thirty-Nine
(Kismet)
Everything wasn't so going good for Seokjin, well except with his relationship with Namjoon. A part of him had a little excitement going on, a flip of his insides when he would spend time with him.
He tried so hard to get rid of those emotions. He could not have those emotions. Namjoon was with Ye-Jun, he knows that. It seems like his heart doesn't want to admit that.
The court room was a breeze when he would enter with Namjoon. There was an accordance, a simple moderation that felt like his life was somewhat stable.
Yet. When he would step inside the court room with his mother, hell bound loose, his life was crumbling beneath his entire being. Not crumbling from the outside. Crumbling from the inside, breaking his heart, hurting for Taehyung and Hoseok.
At the sight of his mother, a kind of hate rose upon him. It could be despise, disappointment;having this irk that would start to rumble inside of him that sometimes he felt that anger was accommodating with his heart, adjusting and penetrating his soul.
The judge had, once again, order another meeting where they would be waiting for the fate of his little brother and Hoseok.
Stepping out of that room was a relief, stress free. His hands where shaking and sweaty as he got of the room. He was the first one, swinging the door open.
"We're not gonna let your mother win this, you know!" From behind him was Namjoon full of rage, his voice higher.
Seokjin massages his head and closes his eyes. Namjoon is right. His mother is not going to win the case. That would be letting the monster win.
"How are we going to make her loose?" At this point his mother was so powerful that the judge was leaning toward her truth.
Judges always lean towards the mother. They have their mother instincts. They are protectors, lovers, amiable and so forth. It is universal of that message, that mothers are the presume warmth of the world, they bring peace and they would do anything for their children. And that is sto true. Seokjin believes it in his core.
But.
That is not true with his mother. Although he is a guy, he is a mother. Not as feminine but having this motherly nature in him. He has a son and he would give up his life for him just like any parent, fathers included. Any parent would give up their lives for them.
Excluding his mother. His mother was not a parent. She was not their parent. She was not willing to give up her life if she would rather drown his child in order to swim over him. She was saving her life. And that. That made him despise her.
"Well we have me and Taehyung. And a wonderful lawyer that is helping us at no end to make sure that Hoseok comes out, walking like his life is not in ruins," Namjoon comforts Seokjin as he comes closer to him.
"Do you need a massage therapist?" Seokjin looks down, hearing Namjoon's warm voice.
That sounds so good. He does in fact need a massage. The stressors in his life was getting to him.
Namjoon is doing so much already for him that he can't say yes to this. He can't depend in everything on him. It wouldn't be fair. After all he has done, he doesn't deserve all the help that he is getting from Namjoon.
"No, thanks. I just need this to be over," he says, flopping on the chair and resting his head on the top of the chair.
Namjoon sits next to him, slouching himself slightly while still keeping his posture. "We'll...You'll get through this," he says, his voice faltering at the end.
