Chapter Twenty-Two:

Seokjin's POV:

It was finally Halloween, a time where people can dress up however they wanted and not look weird while doing so. This year I decided to dress up as a pumpkin. I never dress up because I didn't really see myself with a costume on if I worked that entire day. Now that I was pregnant and I was closer to my due date, I wanted to do something fun before the baby arrives and I won't have any time to do anything fun.

Sofia took me shopping for Halloween costumes with the boys and they were mesmerized by all the costumes. Amelia's kids, her 15 year old daughter, Amanda, and her son, Emmanuel, came along to pick their costumes. The store had a lot of stuff to choose from so it took over an hour to get them to choose a costume. For me, it was difficult to pick one because the costumes will not fit me due to my swollen belly. Costumes for pregnant women were too feminine for my taste. I ended up buying a pumpkin head instead of a real costume.

Jungkook said that he had already bought his costume online. He was dressing as this anime character from his favorite anime show. He was going to dress as Conan from this anime show called Case Closed. Don't know anything about that so I'll have to see how the character looks like.

Taehyung being Taehyung decided on just a crab mask. I think it was kind of ridiculous on him; Sofia thought so other wise so she bought a orange latex suit to go along with the crab mask. Amelia's children were a little more normal on choosing the costumes. Emmanuel chose a clown costume and Amanda chose Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time. (A/N: i love that show)

Amanda became friends with Taehyung really quick so they gushed about everything and giggled whenever the boy working there would give them a glance.

Seeing them interact made me smile. He was showing progress, his eyes glowing from happiness. I was glad that he found a friend.

All of this made me really happy because I didn't really ruin their lives by moving. Taehyung had a new friend and Jungkook was happy having a job and a guy friend were they shared everything in common.
That meant that he wasn't missing Jimin too much.

For me, it wasn't so easy. It has been two months that we had left our old apartment and left Namjoon for good. Everyday I am reminded of my mistake. My belly keeps on growing and I can't think but hate that my baby is growing without its father.

No matter how bad I feel, I can't go back. It is a must that I don't go back. I ruin it by signing the contract, and if I go, Namjoon might loose everything he has even though he might of already lost everything that he has. He lost me and his baby. I am selfish. So, so Selfish.

"Hyung, I am done adding chocolate icing to the brownies." I flutter my eyelids, dissolving away from my trance. I turn to stare at Jimin whom had the tray in both his hands and a look of impatience.

"Here, I'll take them from you. I'm going to put them in a big plate for the party." The brownies were just about to be done when Jungkook arrives from school with one of his new friends, Yugyeom. He told me that he was bringing his friend so that they can go trick or treating together. I mentally curse in my head as I turn off the oven and take a peek from the kitchen window.

"What do I do?" I don't want to ruin the surprise!" Jimin freaks out,jumping from foot to foot. I take my oven mitts off and put my arms on his shoulders,"Jimin you stay close to the door while I take these brownies to Jungkook and his friend. When they bend down to get them, you spring to my room, got it?" Jimin nods, handing the pan to me. He takes his oven mitts off and stands back to the wall to wait for my signal.

From the kitchen window I can see Jungkook and Yugyeom sitting down on the couch and turning the TV on. I bite my lips trying to find the perfect time to interrupt them with the brownies.
