Chapter Forty-One

(Kismet)

Confusion was evidently shown on Ye-Jun's face. Earlier, he had been awaken by the sound of the door bell ringing furiously.

Namjoon had just left twenty minutes or so when he was woken up once again. He was in his pajamas when he opened the door. Minseu entered without a word, and let two other people trail behind her.

Suddenly he had felt insecure, wrapping his dressing gown further so there wasn't anything to be shown to the mysterious people that had just out of nowhere appeared.

They sat on his couch, confusion apparent on their faces as well. Ye-Jun took this as an indication that he should be offering them at least some water. Quickly he grabbed three short glasses and filled them with tap water.

Their conversations were hushed as he rushed to the living room. "Um, what can I do for you guys," he awkwardly says, handing the glasses to the unfamiliar faces and to Minseu who was sitting on the single couch, her legs crossed and her smile suspicious.

The male gave him a pressed smile with a raise eyebrow, taking a sip of the water while the much older women drowned the water in, leaving no space to breathe.

"We're here to discuss the plan. Don't you remember what I told you a few days ago," she says flipping her hair and lowering her glass to the glass round table situated in the middle of the living room.

"Oh, yeah, the plan." His face felled. He was less enthusiastic to discuss trouble. He sat down on the leg of the couch and refused to look at any of the others as he asked Minseu who the people where.

"Let me introduce you to them," she emphasizes, her smile growing wider with every word," This is Mrs. Kim, the one who's accusing the molester of molesting her son."

The lady had a firmed look, her eyebrows right and her gaze penetrating anger. She did not move in agreement nor she moved a muscle on her face. Instead she looked beyond Ye-Jun in silence.

The young boy, however, jerked his body up when his name was mentioned. "This man right here is , he claims to have evidence. And I think he's the piece that can help us get revenge on Seokjin."

"By ruining his brother's life and an innocent man?" Ye-Jun raised his eyebrows in amusement. This was so sick that even hearing made him want to throw up.

"How is he innocent if he kissed a child four years ago," she retorts, keeping her balance.

"A kiss means nothing. How is this man going to have proof of Hoseok doing anything wrong if he wasn't even there four years ago." Ye-Jun's head is spinning.
The logic in their hatred doesn't make sense. They're trying to hurt people because they have jealousy, hate with no purpose.

The more he's in this mess, the more there's no way he'll be able to get out of this.

"Does that matter? The judge is not going to investigate me. I'm a good liar," the male speaks up, his eyes red and his fists rolled up in a ball.

Ye-Jun scoffs in desbelief, and shifts on the sofa. "Sure, and I'm straight. Sooner or later this will backfire and I'm not going to have any part of this," he says, getting ready to get up.

Minseu beats him to it, angrily standing up and adjusting her dress. "Come with me, please." Without waiting for a reply, she walks in the direction of the kitchen where they won't be seen or heard.

With no choice, he trails after her, his head hung low, walking as quickly as his he could. Once in the kitchen he is faced by Minseu, her temper showing as she tries to keep her cool. "What are you doing?"
