Chapter Fifty-Four

(Kismet)

Night approached without a word from Seokjin and his pregnancy. He wasn't ready to tell Namjoon just yet. He wanted to make everything special when he did tell him. Seokjin wanted to do everything right this time.

In his mind, Seokjin had planned where he would tell him, and he wouldn't just tell Namjoon, he would also tell Seokjoon that he was going to be a big brother.

He'd imagined the look on Namjoon's face (how happy he'll look) and probably Seokjoon will be mad because he doesn't a want big brother, but then he'll change his mind and demand to see his sibling now. He was content with that image in his mind and nothing stopped him from smiling.

Except that feeling he felt a couple of days ago. How his skin prickled with fear and his shoulders tense with worry. Ye-Jun after saying his goodbyes did not look back, not even when the elevator was closing. Instead he looked down, his face sullen.

Seokjin had looked in every direction, a hundred percent sure someone was there to prey on him. He almost wanted to cry when he arrived home. Seeing Seokjoon running to him made him forget about that fear. His face light up his, and the realization that he had another kid inside of him. He had his two kids together with him.

The rest of the day he tried his best to not tell them about his pregnancy, seeing as Namjoon should be the first to know before the rest of them did. After dinner he retract himself to his room and studied.

Seokjin had woken up with a mild nightmare the next morning. It wasn't so bad that he screamed or sweated, but it was enough to freak him out.

Pushing that thought away he arose from his bed and, before forgetting, called to make an ultrasound appointment, marking the calendar and calculating when he would tell Namjoon so they can go together to the appointment.

Today he was going to meet Ken. Hae-Won called him yesterday to tell him that she talked to Ken on the phone several days ago, and that he wanted to see Seokjin.

Upon hearing the news he broke down crying. He had been so worried that Ken would never talk to him again. Ever since he has mended his ways with Namjoon, he feels like everything is falling into place. Namjoon had messaged him that he was talking to Jackson now and that they were going to hang out soon.

The guilt that he had for so long was slowly diminishing and it would only entirely be gone once he talks with Ken and this lawsuit is over.

Today was the day he was meeting Ken. Hae-Won had organized their meeting. They were meeting at a small cafe with comfortable couches to sit, much like the coffee shop where the characters on the show Friends, frequently encounter each other.

Instead of nightmares, a beautiful dream emerged from his sleep. He had been well rested, except for the casual morning drag to the restroom. Sofia noticed his shift in mood and almost questioned him before he briefly ignored her gesture, fully knowing himself that he would of immediately told her if he had spoken to her.

Half an hour ago, Namjoon picked Seokjoon up, saying that he wanted Seokjoon to meet Zahara's daughters. Seokjin immediately agreed. Zahara was another important person in Namjoon's life and Seokjin didn't want to intervene when it came to that.

The house was up and moving. It was a Saturday morning, everyone lazily doing things. Jimin had slept on the couch with Jungkook, both of them late binge-watching a tv series. Taehyung had slept with Seokjin, peacefully gracing his left side of the bed, Taehyung's leg on top of his hip the entire night.

Taehyung sleeping on his bed reminding him of 14 year old Taehyung. Rather this time Taehyung slept there because he didn't like sleeping alone. Not that Seokjin minded. But when you have someone put their body against yours, hands and feet thrown at your direction, your own body starts to tell you to take a break.
