Maggie's Point of View
"We have arrived at Camp Half-Blood." Leo spoke over the speaker.
When I looked up Apollo was gone.
"Are you okay?" Nico asked me. I nodded. He grabbed my hand and we went down to the camp.
I know some people would want to be alone right now but I'm glad Nico is concerned. When we got down to the camp, there was a girl with red hair standing there.
"Hi! I'm Rachel. I'll be taking you to Chiron." She said.
"Hi. I'm Maggie." I said.
"Umm. Well we better get goi—" At that moment her eyes turned emerald green and green fog came out of her mouth. A voice, not Rachel, spoke words I would never forget. A prophecy.
"Five Half-Bloods will travel soon
To seek the new goddess of the moon
Two of their souls will change for the God of Sky
But when they sound their battle cry
Four shall live to save the rest of days
One shall see the dark that stays."
Everything went calm. I was on the ground, looking up to the sky. It was all blurry. I heard voices but they were far away. Nico was shouting my name.
"Maggie! Maggie!" He shouted.
When my eyes readjusted I was in Nico's arms and we were moving.
"What?" I said a little groggy. "Where are we going?"
"I'm taking you to see Chiron." He sounded scared. Nico being scared is weird and scary.
When we went to the house, the only house, Nico took me inside. He sat me down on the couch. I sat up.
"Chiron. She's here." Nico yelled.
A minute later a centaur came in. I tried to run away but Nico was there to stop me. He may be 5'8" and look scrawny but he's strong.
"Stay calm. He is the camp director, Chiron." Nico said. I went over to Chiron and put my hand out. He shook my hand.
"I'm sorry for trying to run away." I said.
"Do not worry. It has happened dozens of times. I am Chiron."
"I'm Maggie. Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too. I have a few questions I would like to ask you. If that is okay." He said.
"Sure." I answered.
"What did Rachel say to you when you were enveloped in the green fog?" He asked.
I told him the prophecy. He nodded then turned to Nico.
"Meeting now!" He said urgently.
Nico grabbed my hand and we left. We went around to all the cabins. Nico would yell into the cabins and then run to the next one.
"Head counsolers meeting now!"
Once we got around to all the cabins he turned to me.
"You need to come to the meeting. Are you okay to do this?" He asked.
"Yes." I said. We ran towards the house again to join the meeting.
When I got there everyone was gathered around a ping-pong table. At least twenty-five people were there including Percy, Annabeth, Rhaeghan, Leo, Frank, and Hazel.
"Everyone quiet down. There is a new prophecy." Chiron said. Everyone looked scared.
"What is it?" Annabeth asked. He told everyone the prophecy.
"So, then five demigods have to go." Rhaeghan asked.
"Annabeth, Percy, Leo, Rhaeghan, and Jasmine." Nico said.
"Nico, you know who has to go." Chiron said looking at me.
"I don't see why she has to go." Nico yelled. He was furious. "She will not be involved in this." He walked out.
"Ok. That is it for today. We will resume this tomorrow." Everybody got up and left.
I ran to the Hades cabin. When I got in I looked around. I found him on the ground beside his bed. Tears running down his face. I kneeled in front of him.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I don't want you to get hurt." He said wiping the tears away. More filled their spot now.
"Why would I get hurt Nico?" I asked.
"You're going to think I'm crazy." He said.
"I already think you're crazy. That's why I like you." I said.
"All the people that I love die." He said more tears running down his face.
"I'm right here." I wiped the tears off his face. "I'll be okay." I hugged him to calm him down.
"Dinner. Please report to the dining pavilion at this time." Blared from the speakers outside.
"Come on. It's time for dinner." I said getting up. I held my hand out to help him up. He accepted it. We walked to dinner hand in hand.
Dinner was fun and chaotic. I had a Caesar salad and a purple Mountain Dew. A food fight broke out at the Hermes table but the Big Three table, the table I was sitting at, handled it. Jason, son of Zeus, struck a burger with lightning. That calmed them down a lot. After dinner, there was a bonfire in the amphitheater. I sat with Rhaeghan to my left and Nico to my right holding my hand. Chiron cleared his throat to get everyone's attention.
"There is a new prophecy." He recited the words that I recited to him not even three hours ago. "Anyone have any questi—" He fell silent and was staring right above my head. Apparently so was everyone else. I saw bright lights shining above me. After a minute they were gone.
"What just happened?" I asked. Nico and Rhaeghan were stunned.
"You were just claimed." He said.
"I know I'm Athena's child." I said. Nico shook his head.
"No. By all seven of the gods you have gifts from." Nico explained. Everybody was still staring at me.
"Everyone cabins. Now!" Chiron yelled. Rhaeghan, Nico and I started to walk back to the cabins when Chiron called my name. I told Rhaeghan and Nico to go and I would catch up then turned back to Chiron.
"Maggie, you can sleep in whatever cabin you want. If you have blessings from that god or goddess." He explained.
"So I have to choose one and stay there?" I asked.
"No. There will be a bed in each cabin. You can sleep in any of them anytime you would like." He said.
"Thank you." I said turning. I made my way to the Hades cabin. I was finally able to have a sleepover with Hazel.
