Nico's Point of View
Maggie still hadn't come back after Percy and Jason took her away. I might as well go find her. I went down the stairs to below deck. When I passed the dining hall I heard Maggie's voice. I walked in. Maggie tried to walk over to me but they stopped her and told her to sit down.
"For Nico and yours best interest, you should stay away from each other." Percy told Maggie. He whispered so I don't think I was supposed to hear it.
"What was the vision?" She asked a little loud. The room started to get darker.
"Maggie calm down! It's getting darker in here." Percy said in a soothing voice. Maggie looked mad. I didn't know why.
"What was the vision?!" She basically yelled at this point.
They didn't answer. After about a minute she made the room really dark and shadow-traveled out of there. I didn't know where she was going but I was going to find her.
"What did you do?" I asked them.
"We didn't do anything." Percy said.
"That's a lie and you know it." Jason said. "We told her that for hers and yours best interest you two to stay away from each other." Jason explained.
"I know. I heard Kelp Head over here say it earlier. But why?" I asked.
"Well Rachel had a vision this morning." Percy said.
"About what?" I asked. He sighed.
"She said it was a vision of you and Maggie. Maggie was on the ground unconscious and you ran over to her. Your face was streaked with tears and as soon as you got to her you started scream and crying. You held her in your arms. Rachel thinks Maggie could..." Jason hesitated. "die." Jason finally said.
I could only stand there. There was nothing I could say or do. I felt as if my world was being pulled out from under my feet. Maggie could possibly die. I know there has always been a chance but knowing it and hearing it are different somehow. And now with the vision too. I felt short of breath and I couldn't move still.
"Nico, are you okay?" Percy asked.
I could finally move again so I ran. I just kept running. I stopped when I hit the stables. This was the place were Maggie ran after she told us about her dream. Where we sat for hours looking out the window on the bottom of the ship. I never thought I could feel the way Adam did about Mia. I couldn't lose her.
Maggie's Point of View
I ended up shadow traveling to a room on the ship. It had blue walls. Two were dark blue and two were a lighter shade of blue. The bed had a blue comforter and some red pillows. It had some other furniture too. There was a guitar in the corner. I didn't know anyone on this ship could play an instrument.
I went over to the bed and laid down. I just need sometime to think before looking for them again. I didn't mean to fall asleep but it happened.
My dream started out as joyful. It was the first time Nico and me met. Then when we played volleyball with Chris and Paige and Percy. Nico and I kick everybody's butt because Paige went over to Percy and Chris's team. We helped each other. It was just a good day. Then when Nico asked to borrow a book. When he came back down it was a book called If I Stay by Gayle Forman. The next day in school we talk about it. That was the next part in my dream.
"Maggie, I have a question." Nico said while we were talking about the book.
"Sure Neeks." He frowned at the nickname I gave him.
"Did you every feel the way Adam did about Mia?" He asked.
"Do you mean have I ever liked someone that way?" I asked.
"Yes." He said.
"No. Not yet. You?" I asked.
"No. Not yet." We both sat there for a minute thinking.
"I hope one day I find the person that I would do anything for." I said. He looked at me.
"I hope so too." He said.
I was on top of the mast now the day I became closer to Nico. We were talking then. It changed to Nico and I in the dining hall. When he told me he liked me. Then it was Nico and me kissing in my bedroom. All of the sudden it turned dark.
"This is the last time I will talk to you demigod. If that is even what you are." It was Ouranos.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You're too powerful to be a demigod."
"Well I am. And I'm not joining your army. I am going to defeat you." I said.
"Yes you may. But at a price." You could hear him smirking.
"What does that mean?" I asked.
"You may defeat me but at a price. Death will come if you defeat me. You and your little boyfriend aren't safe. One of you will die." His laugh grew louder and louder until I woke up.
I didn't scream this time but I woke up in a cold sweat. I was short of breath. This couldn't be happening. I love Nico. I loved Nico the way Adam loved Mia. I would do anything for him. I couldn't lose him.
