Everything is Changing

The Awakening

          Maggie's Point of View
    I woke up in a dark room chained to a wall. And by chained I mean stuck to the wall in metal cuffs. It was only lit by fire, one torch on each side of me. Great hospitality!
     I had no clue where I was. The last thing I remember is feeling a sharp pain on the back of my head and falling to the deck. Jax! I looked around but couldn't find him in the dim light.
    "Jax!" I said. What if  something happened to him?!
    "Maggie? You're awake." He started to walk into my view.
    "You're free. Great. Help me!" I said to him. He grimaced.
    "I would. Buuuttt I can't." He said, smirking.
"What do you mean you can't?" I asked shocked that he wouldn't help me.
"Remember how we used to tell each other stories? Well I'm going to tell you one right now." He cleared his throat. "There once was boy who had a best friend. He grew to like her. She was beautiful, kind, smart, and sarcastic but she liked someone else. She started to ignore the boy for the other. Soon the boy grew mad and full of hatred for the girl. He had always loved her and now she loved this other boy. But then a man came along and offered the boy a deal. The boy could have whatever he want as long as the boy did as the man said. And the boy accepted the deal." He paused for a moment. "I am the boy Maggie. That day at the hospital when you choose Nico over me. I went for a walk while you two were confessing your love for each together. I heard this voice in the back of my head, telling me about this deal. I agreed and now I'm going to get all I want. And all I want is to see you die."
"How could you do this to me?! I thought we were best friends!" I screamed at him. "And now you're handing me over to Ouranos?!" I asked in disbelief.
"We were until you choose Nico over me!" He yelled. I backed into the wall, not wanting to be near him. He was a monster.
"Wait until the others find out! They are going to defeat you!" I yelled back.
"The only one who can defeat Master is you. No one else. So once we use your blood to awaken him and kill you the world will be ours!" He laughed.
"Good luck with that!" I tried to get out of the cuffs but they wouldn't budge.
"I don't need luck." He turned an walked away.
This was the vision. Nico can't save me. I can't save myself. They were going to kill me and leave my body for Nico. I never should have trusted anyone but Nico.

Nico's Point of View
Maggie walks past me. She heads up to the deck. Jax follows her. I still didn't have a good feeling about this guy but he was Maggie's friend so I guess he's okay. I continue eating my cereal when a shadow appears over the way up to the deck. I turned and saw a cyclops. Annabeth screamed and ran to the far side of the dining hall. Percy grabbed Riptide and I grabbed my sword. We were about to charge at it when it ran overboard.
We ran over to the railing. Below us was a ship. I saw Maggie unconscious and Jax was just about to lay down on the deck as if he was unconscious.
"They took Maggie!" Percy screamed to the rest of the crew.
"Jax is behind this. He was just pretending to be unconscious." I turned around and threw my sword onto the ground.
"I knew something wasn't right about that guy!" Percy through his teeth. He look about ready to punch something.
"I had the same feeling. But losing our temper isn't going to get us Maggie back." I paused to think. "Take Blackjack and follow them." By now everybody else was on the deck listening. "Don't engage. Scope out the area and tell us. We will come with back up as soon as possible. Take Rhaeghan." Percy nodded and whistled.
Blackjack came galloping up to the deck. Percy hopped on and helped Rhaeghan up. They started riding after her.
"Okay. Everybody else go get ready meet me back up here in five minutes."
I couldn't believe this was happening. Why? Just why?!

Jax's Point of View
I went back in to get Maggie for the awakening. I took the cuffs off her. She struggle against me. So I slapped her.
   "Just stop. You can't get away from this." I said.
    She shut up and walked. I was excited that this was finally happening after waiting about two weeks. I pushed her to the ground once we got to the place. I had the three cyclops there. Also a manticore and two empusa.
    I brought her to the middle of the ground. I grabbed the knife out of my pocket and cut a line across my arm. I let three drops of my blood spill. I grabbed Maggie's arm. I heard a thud and turned to see everybody who was on the ship. They had defeat my monsters.
     "You're too late." I said.
     I cut into Maggie's arm. A little deep so I could get her blood faster. She screamed in agony. I couldn't help but smile. I let two drops fall and was tackled to the ground by Percy.
     "You better not have done anything to my sister." He said to me. He punched me.
     "Like I said you're too late." I watched as the last drop of her blood dropped to the ground. We waited ten seconds.
     "Doesn't look like it worked." Percy said looking at me.
     "Just wait."
     All of the sudden the ground started shaking. A crack formed in the middle. Maggie crawled away. A voice came from the crack.
    "Thank you for awakening me." Then Ouranos appeared.
