                 Maggie's Point of View
"I hate to break this up but we have to go down before my mom sends a whole search party after us." I said. I pulled away from Nico, sad to have to leave this.
"Okay. Let's go." Nico said. Except his actions said otherwise. He pulled me back to him. He kissed me one more time long and passionate. "Okay. Now let's actually go." He picked me up.
"Nico! What are you doing?" I asked. I knew he was going to say something sarcasm.
"Dropping you down a cliff." He said. I knew it.
"I meant, why are you carrying me?" I asked.
"Because you are hurt. And I'm not going to set you down so don't even try?" Nico said. He continued to carry me down the stairs.
Once we got downstairs, I tried to get down. Nico just gave me the "Don't even try" look so I gave up trying to walk on my own. We walked into the living room and dining room and found my sisters, Claudia and Eliana, and Aaron. Nico walked into the kitchen. My mom and stepdad were there.
   "Hey, Mum!" I said.
"Maggie." My mom said. That was our way of greeting each other.
"So what's for dinner?" Nico asked.
"We are have meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and corn." My mom said.
   "Sounds amazing." I said.
"So what were you guys up to?" My mom asked. She looked at me with the "You didn't actually think you could avoid it" look.
"We watched Corpse Bride and talked a little and kissed a little." I said. Nico nodded in agreement.
"Really, Maggie? I thought we said no hickeys." My mom said.
"But look." I showed her my neck. "No hickeys were made."
"Just go get everybody." My mom said.
Nico and I walked into the dining room and told everyone that it was time to eat. Nico sat me down on the one side of the love seat. He left and came back with two plates of food and two bottles of Pepsi Max. He set the two plates down on the radiator next to the love seat and picked me up. He sat down and sat me down on his lap.
"Nico, what are you doing?" I asked. I mean I wasn't complaining.
"Well, Aaron and Eliana can sit at the ottoman. The parents can sit on the couch. That leaves Claudia, you, and me on the love seat. So..." Nico explained.
"Okay. I can't argue with logic." I said as he handed me my plate of food.
"Can't argue or won't argue?" He smirked at me.
"A little bit of both." I admitted.
"I am just glad we get to spend time together. Especially without Percy always saying 'Don't do that.' and 'Stop holding my sister's hand.'" Nico said.
"That's a good point." I agreed. Percy was always around when Nico and me would always try to hold each other's hand. So just to take advantage of the moment, I held Nico's hand.
Once the parents came into the living room we started to watch Jeopardy! and eat. About halfway through dinner there was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it!" Claudia said. Nico, Claudia, and I were the closest people to the door but since I was on top of Nico and my leg still hurt a little, Claudia got the door.
When Claudia answered the door we couldn't hear who it was. We heard mumbles. Then Claudia came walking back in. With Percy.
"What are you two doing?" Percy asked as he walked in.
"I just wanted to sit on his lap." I said.
"But Mag—" Nico started to say.
   "Shhh." I whispered to Nico.
"But Maggie. Where is Percy going to sit?" I said.
   "Maggie, what's wrong?" Percy asked.
"Fine. I got hurt." I said.
   "What?! How?!" Percy freaked out.
"Laelaps. This person who is The King is really trying to get to this demigod first." I explained.
"I thought she was in Tartarus." Percy said.
"Well, apparently she got out." I said.
"Okay. Are you okay?" Percy asked.
"Yes but it took a lot to heal it." I explained.
"What do you mean?" Percy asked.
"We had to use peroxide to clean it. Water didn't work. It actually hurt me more. Anyway, why are you here?" I asked.
   "Well..." Percy started to say.
"You knew something happened. Didn't you?" I said, standing up.
"Yes." Percy looked scared. He never really gets scared. Angry and happy but never scared.
"How?" I asked. I started to move towards him.
"I might of..." Percy started to backup.
"You might of what?" I said. I was close to him. He was at the door.
"I might of followed you." Percy was opening the door.
"What!!!" I screamed.
Percy started to run out the door. I ran after him as best I could with my knee. He ran down the street. I made sure no one was around and shadow traveled in front of him. He screamed. I grabbed his ear and dragged him back to the house. Once we got into the living room, I trapped him in shadows.
"Did you hear that? He followed us!" I said, going back over to Nico and sitting on his lap.
"Yeah." Nico said.
"You know why, right? He doesn't trust that we can do this." I said.
"More like doesn't trust me with you." Nico scoffed.
   "I'm sure it's not that." I said.
"Okay. Let's ask him." Nico said. He took down the shadows. "Percy, why were you spying on us?"
"Well...umm...that's a funny story. See, I just thought maybe if something were to arise that would put Maggie in danger and you could help..." Percy tried to explain.
"You don't trust me to take care of your sister. That's why, isn't it?" Nico said.
"No. Not exactly. Well, maybe. Okay. Fine. Yes." Percy said. He hung his head in shame.
    "Told you." Nico said.
"Well, anyways. Hey, Sister." Percy said, very cheery.
